[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I love the WD Black series, it has become my go too for all my gaming storage needs. I installed this my daughter's PC, which needed and upgrade from an old 2.5 ssd. It made a huge improvement to overall system performance.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The WD Black SN770 NVMe SSD is a great addition to my PC. I used it to replaced my C: drive and I couldn't be happier. A little background about myself I am a casual gamer with minimal computer skills. I had to first get an adapter so I could plug the SSD in to clone my hard drive. After cloning I replaced my existing hard drive with this one and it worked out nicely. It takes about half the time now for my computer to boot up and I haven't had any lagging issues since I installed this drive. Overall I am very satisfied.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WD's new Black SN770 competes with similar products in both price and performance. It's also further proof that DRAM-less SSD design can be very effective in systems that support it. It doesn't compare with the more expensive, latest and greatest SSDs out there, but the WD Black SN770 is fast and affordable. I have no complaints and am very pleased with my desktop now.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the WD BLACK SN770 NVMe™ SSD 500 GIG free from TryIt Sampling for a review. It was easy to install and set up. It has 500 GIG storage which helps a lot. It is fast which is a good surprise for me. It is a very nice addition of performance and storage space. It is a good quality product. I would recommend it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having no previous experience with these, I honestly didn't realize just how the faster load times would actually effect things. I figured since I wasn't a huge multiplayer FPS gamer, that I wouldn't actually benefit that much from using a NVMe SSD. I was completely wrong. I used this to upgrade my gaming PC from my old SATA drive and, as you can imagine, the difference is really noticeable. First off, my computer boots a lot faster. What seemed like it took minutes before is literally just seconds. The same is true with my games. I do play some pretty large file games and these used to take a minute or 2 to load but now they're really just a few seconds, it seems. Overall every process is just so much faster. I wish I would have realized before now just how much better it is. I would have just gotten this from the beginning. I can't attest to what it would be like going from a standard SSD drive to this, but for me, it was night and day.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This WD Black SSD is awesome. I'm just getting started on gaming computers so a friend of mine recommended this as an upgrade. And upgrade it did, the speed difference was very noticeable. It was pretty simple to install and it works exceptionally well. I am very pleased with this, the only regret I have is that I went with the 500 GB, I will be upgrading to at least 1 TB. This is a very good product, you will not be dissatisfied after seeing the speed difference.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Added this to my PC for some extra storage and to try playing games from. It was easy to install and makes a huge difference with load times and seems like the games run smoother. Overall very satisfied with this SSD.
Pretty fast for me and I needed a little more storage so this is good
Easy to install and easy to set-up! I like the product it is a nice addition to my refurbished laptop computer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, upon opening the package, the drive was sitting crooked in the package, not nicely in the pocket like I expected. That aside, this drive does use a Sandisk chip, and the WD software is pretty nice. It does have a "gaming" mode that can be turned on and off. Performance is very good, especially for the price point. Gaming mode does help during all read/write tests, some tests more than others but with or without gaming mode enabled, the speeds are still very good, inching out my Samsung and Intel M.2 drives. Between the performance, the warranty, support, and price, this is a good choice for anyone looking for a quick drive without breaking the bank.
