I got the Spark Create Imagine Taco play food toy set. The boys are having a blast pretending to make us Tacos. I like that the Tacos have shells, lettuce, tomatoes, meat and even seasoning plus reusable tray to keep it all together. The play food is make of safe plastic and does not put out any odor. Nice add on for many hours of food play time and teaching them to be cooks and servers.
This beef taco play set is super adorable! My kids have always liked pretend food, and this is an awesome addition to the play kitchen toys. The size is wonderful, and not too small at all. The black container the pieces come in can be reused as a pretend take-out container and saved to store the pieces. It comes with three "hard shell" tacos to customize with ingredients. The ingredients are flat and shapes similar to the shells. The plastic pieces are a little slippery, and the food will slip out if you don't fill it, but it's kind of funny. I can fit five ingredients into one shell and then it's pretty snug. There is pretend cheese, lettuce, beef, black beans, tomatoes, and avocado, and also a pretend seasoning shaker and half of a lime. The kit is super cute, and helps kids want to try new foods, in my opinion. Love it!
This is a really cute that and it allows kids to build their own little tiny tacos. It has different feelings like meat, cheese, beans, lettuce, all of which slide into a little hard shell. Good quality.
My littles love this play taco kit! It's so realistic, in a sense, it comes with the meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and even has a vegetarian option...comes with black beans (I think that's what it is lol) as well as what looks like avocados, can't forget the taco seasoning mix =) Pretty awesome cause most sets come with the hamburgers and hot dogs, this is the first taco set I've seen, so cool!! Goes perfect with my littles kitchen set! I definitely recommend you add "Spark Create Imagine"s Play Meal Kit Beef Taco set to your kids play kitchens!!
We have taco night about once a week, so when this toy came my kids were so excited. My 4 y/o immediately opened her “taco restaurant” and was giddy that she was familiar with all of the ingredients she is familiar with. I was happy they included healthy additions like avocados and black beans! And they little tray they come in looks like a meal prep tray and is perfect for storage. There's even a lime, which we always squeeze lime over our tacos and nachos so this set is so perfect. There are 3 shells and I believe two of each of the fillings. This would be a perfect kids gift.
My kids were very excited to receive this pretend beef taco set. It's super cute, and easy for them to make their “tacos.” The slices of food easily fit into the plastic taco shells, and it's easy enough for my 3 year old to do it. My 7 year old enjoys it too. Everything seems pretty sturdy for plastic food. I like that it's something different for pretend food, as I've never seen toy tacos before. It's very cute!
My kids love the build a taco toy. It has all the pieces you would think of to go in tacos. They love putting them together the way they want to. The container can even be used as storage. It's not super heavy duty but it will work for a little while. It reminds me of a piece of Tupperware. Or the Tupperware type things that your food comes in from a restaurant. I would recommend this to a friend.
I liked how the taco set is packaged in a to-go like container that you'd get from a restaurant. Makes it seem more “authentic” to the kiddos. My son was really excited to see something new sitting on his kitchen set, but it didn't keep his attention for long. As I was watching him playing, I noticed he had a really hard time removing the taco topping slices from the taco shell. He had a hard time fitting them in, as well. I get why it needs to be a tight fit though, to keep the slices from falling out. It just didn't seem to entertain him as much as other food sets similar to this one does. And that is completely his experience. Other children may really enjoy this set, especially if they love tacos like we do! It is interactive, not just a whole fake taco. It has meat and veggie options in slices to fill the taco shell. And a cute bottle of taco sauce. I think this is a nice addition to a kitchen set. I do think it's cute and kids would really like it if into food play. My son is autistic and I think this would be helpful on taco night to try to get him to try something new. Overall, it's a decent little set. Really depends on the kiddo.
It's a kids item/toy but these are mini mini tacos and not full size. My grands will probably still enjoy playing with them. If you buy it as a gift, you'll probably need to repackage as it comes in an unappealing (to me) tray which I guess could be good for storage purposes. Pieces are large so there doesn't appear to be a choke hazard. Includes directions on how to make tacos.
I got the grilled skewers set and the taco set. The skewers are cute but VERY hard to get on as an adult. No way a child will do this !! SO disappointing because it is cute and my granddaughter would love it. Ok the taco set is better. You can make 3 tacos with 4 pieces in each shell! Much better than the skewers!!
