My daughter loves this she can sing the ABC with the mic or just sing with no music she has her own karaoke in the house. It makes it fun and easy to learn the ABC its great, quality seems to be good and it's powdered by 2 AAA batteries secured by a philips screwdriver i highly recommended.
This toy is so cute! My grandson loves it. His parents? Not so much. It's easy for him to hold and the buttons are big enough for little fingers to grasp. It gets a little tiring to hear the ABC's song and numbers song over and over but it makes him happy. The karaoke function is nice because I can turn the music I'm playing up so it can drown him out a little. Lol Seems well made. Has made it through rough play, being thrown on the floor and tumbling down some steps. Good toy for preschoolers.
I got these to use when my daughters ride their bikes and scooters. We make little obstacle courses, and it makes it so much more fun and challenging to go between the cones. The cones are a little soft, so they don't crack when my daughters run over them a bit and are holding up well.
I'm very happy with these cones. They come in a pack of 10, are heavy enough to stay I place, light enough so that they aren't difficult to carry and bright and large enough to stand out. I've been using them for a few purposes. My kids are learning to ride their bikes and having fun on their scooters and we use them to let them know how far down the driveway they are allowed to travel. I also use them to create obstacle courses and lanes because they enjoy being active and competing. It's so awesome that they come in a pack of 10 because we have a long driveway.
It would've been nice to have these last year, I'm glad I have them now. They aren't too heavy or so tall that Storing them would be difficult, so that's good. I personally would have used them last year when we put in new grass (if I had, had them then), I realize that's not a use some would automatically think of, but trying to keep the pool guy & the water treatment guy from driving on the new grass, proved quite difficult and I had to make homemade signs because I didn't know you could walk into Walmart and find these. We will also use For sports, but, I'm looking forward to using them when we put in our new driveway too.
We actually just received this today. My 3 year old toddler was excited about it from the get go. It has three different sections. One counts. One does the ABCs, and one is just for regular talking. It is a real toy microphone. You can hear your voice, and it amplifies it. Overall, it's cute and fun. I'd say a a good age range for this would be like 3-6 or so. She's played with it most of the evening. The only reason I took off a star is it makes a loud screeching noise if you put your mouth directly on it. It sounds super annoying. Of course most toddlers are going to put their mouth directly on the microphone multiple times.
Although these cones are billed as "field cones for training," they are exactly what I need for learning to confidently back my travel trailer up. They are bright enough to be seen in my rear view camera and, though a little short at 9" tall, they are clearly visible due to the bright orange color. Be aware, though, that the openings on the sides allow wind to blow through them and, on a windy day, they will not stay in place without weighting or staking them.
This toy looks cute. It Counts from 1 to 10 when you press the yellow star button. It sings the ABC`s if you press the red diamond button. If you press the orange circle button it can be used as just a microphone. The microphone can be used with each button to sing along or by itself to sing or yell whatever your kids want!! My biggest issue with this toy is it is VERY LOUD!! No volume control, so its blasting out whatever the kids are singing or yelling at each other!! In a house with multiple kids this is not ideal!! So loud that my 6 year old son was yelling for his brother to stop playing with it because he was getting a headache! lol Maybe if you only have one child this would be great but with multiple kids, I would not recommend this toy. I gave a 3 star because well, maybe some people would love to hear their child singing and yelling. Also it does what it says and worked well, although loud.
My grandson sings all the time and his friend has a microphone, so he was excited when I told him about the Unicorn microphone. The product is recommended for ages three+. My grandson is a little over four years of age. What I noticed is that the unicorn has protruding ears and a horn on top of its head, of course, that can easily poke a child when using. Unfortunately a child needs to put his mouth directly on the microphone in order to get it to work which muffles the sound. The button colors depicted in the instructions are different than what is actually on the toy. I interviewed him and here is what he didn't like: It's more for younger kids then big boys, it's better to sing by myself than use the microphone because the sound is crummy, the horns and ears are poky, it's not much fun – just OK. He also said another animal would be more fun like a panda, a lion, or a bunny. I noticed that the sound is pretty bad and you cannot distinguish what he is singing, perhaps because he has to be so close, and it is hard to tell if it is working. The ABC's and counting are for much younger children. Perhaps if I had gotten the microphone for him when he was just three that would have been a better fit and he would like it more The batteries that come with it are for demonstration purposes only (Try Me Batteries) and three regular AAA batteries are required (the instructions say that batteries are included, but they are not, only temporary batteries as stated above). The microphone is made from a sturdy plastic, the colors are nice, but the quality of sound and usage is poor, as well as safety concerns with protruding ears and horn.
We originally bought this item for our grandson about a year ago...he loved it. He took it with him everywhere, loved singing the ABC's. Then one day he turned it on %26 it started squealing horribly. We tried replacing the batteries, it wouldn't stop. Because he loved it, I decided to order another, it came, I tested it, wrapped it for his bday. He opened it, turned it on, %26 nothing but squealing! So disappointing...
