We bought 2 of these last year to take on a trip to Mexico. They are VERY easy to inflate and they keep you cool in the hot sun because of the mesh. Neither my husband or I are considered small and we didn't have any issue with floating on them. They're also easier to get on than the "old" vinyl floats.
They keep most of your body just below the waterline so you stay cool in the hot sun. You can lay on your back or belly equally well. You can even sit in it and let it fold up around you like a pool chair and it keeps you floating about chest deep or slighly less. My wife bought this one and after using it for an hour or so, I didn't want to give it back! I'm going to get get one for myself ASAP. As you can see from other reviews, if you want a float that keeps you out of the water and dry then this is not for you.
This float is meant to let water through. Its perfect for tanning because you still get to feel the nice cool water while getting sun. It's the float my family fights over the most. will have to purchase more than one. I would just like to put in that neither my husband or I are small people and it keeps us afloat just fine. We love it! It defitely isn't like the girl in the pic though. It does tend to curl in on the sides, but it is still very comfy and doesn't interfere with tanning. Comfy laying on stomach or back and I even like to sit up on it every once in a while. It's a pleaser in this family
The float is pretty good for the money. You also don t have to blow it up much. The only thing is that it sits pretty far under the water level when your on it.
Although I love the carry bag it comes with, the zipper broke the first time i tried to put the float back in the bag at the pool...perhaps because the float was still wet? I repaired the zipper and it still works.
You sink more than you float and the sides cave in on you. Nice for a kid but not made for an adult.
I was so disappointed in the float i should have just bought a cheap one because they float better! It wouldnt even keep my 3 yr old above water! Dont waste your money!
I PURCHASED THESE ON-LINE. WE RECENTLY HAD A POOL BUILT AND THOUGHT THESE WOULD BE NICE FOR LOUNGING IN AND FLOATING AROUND IN. THEY LOOK NICE BUT ARE A TERRIBLE PRODUCT. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. THEY DON'T HOLD AIR AND THE AIR COMPARTMENTS THAT DON'T HOLD THE AIR, FILL UP WITH WATER INSTEAD!! I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE PURCHASED PRODUCT. WE ONLY USED THESE ONE TIME. NOT WORTH IT!!
We love, love, love these floats. Very easy to inflate. My husband is 6'6" and these floats keep him moving around the pool. You keep cool during the day with the water coming through the mesh....and warm at night as the water cradles you. Bought this style a few years ago for much more money and my daughter took them home with her...now we have our own for our just completed pool.
Would not recommend. Purchased this type float 2 years ago from walmart and they were great. I purchased 2 of these floats at walmart 2 weeks ago and and they will barely hold you out of the water . Quality is poor compared to prior floats.
