Works good, bright screen and keys light up so can see in dark. Unlike another cheep phone I had, people can hear me clearly and I hear them good too. If looking for just a simple phone that works then this is a good choice.
I'm very satisfied with this little phone. All I wanted was a simple phone to make and receive calls without all the bells and whistles that more expensive phones have. This LG phone is perfect. It's small, light-weight, and easy to carry. Net10 plans are among the lowest! Excellent value!
I bought this phone just for emergencies. It is a simple low-cost phone that carry over to the next month the minutes you don't use. I had not have the need to call customer service, so I can not give an opinion regarding their service. Here in Honolulu you get 200 minutes a month for $15.94. You can set-up the account for an automatic monthly payment, and if you run out of minutes you can buy more minutes as you go along. There is no contract, just the very low monthly rate.
I needed a phone and a deal that wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg. I didn't want a contract, either. So, a knew I needed a prepaid phone. I just started a new job, so I didn't have the money to buy a "smartphone". I saw this, and had to have it. I spent about $65, and had a phone, with unlimited talk and text. About the Phone. It is a very basic phone, but, I have to say, the quality of the speaker, while talking, is better than any other phone I've ever owned. It's small, compact, and fits well in your pocket. Texting is very easy to do, also. The T9 dictionary is better put together in this phone than others I have used, as well. I text and talk quite a bit, and I left my phone on, without charging it, for 2 days, and the battery still stayed up, which impressed me, as well. About the Service. Prepaid service has come a long way since the beginning. But, Net10 shines brighter than most, in my opinion. I spend time in some very Rural areas, yet, even on river banks and the shores of lakes, I haven't lost service, whereas, other services I have used would loose service in different spots. Overall. I would recommend this phone to anyone who just need something basic. It's inexpensive, easy to use, and the plans are great, too. I give the phone a "4" and the plans offered, a "5". For a 9 out of 10.
I have a very small business, with only 2 employees. Having worked in the corporate sector, I was exposed to the nightmares of reimbursements and lengthy contracts after employees had left. For this reason, I decided to purchase them a prepaid phone and buy the minutes upfront. The LG only cost me $15, yet is still quite a tough little thing. It really is a very basic phone, but that suits me well, as they only need to text with the occasional call and there's never the worry of wasted minutes by mistakenly going onto a browser. The hands free ability is great for my driver, as he can get directions while on the move and the battery life is good for such a cheap phone. Using this phone with net10's good coverage, low rates and no national roaming charges, helps in the smooth running of my business.
Yes,it is,decided on this phone because of the flexibility of it's plans offered by Net10. The price was just right and the Unlimited plan for $50 gives you all you need! I highly recommend this phone to those who want to break free of contracts and enjoy one rate every month without the worry of overages or hidden fees!
As for the Net10 service, the box that the cell phone comes in offers several payment plans $15, $20, $30, $50. If you choose the $15 plan and purchase several phones BUYER BEWARE it is a bait and switch program. When you call to active the plan they will switch from what you asked for. I have reported Net10 to the Federal Communication Commision for false advertisments. Note it is a great cell phone for keeping in track of your children. Purchasing phone cards have less of a headache.
The phone works extremely well but the back is very hard to put on and comes off easily. Not really good for a 10 year old boy to carry in his pocket because of this problem. For an adult this is not a problem.
After giving up work to raise my children, I've found communication to be of utmost importance. This phone facilitates use of Net10's service in a very economical way. While not fancy, stylish, or over-the-top, this phone gets the job done. The small size is convenient since any bulging pocket is undesirable in my opinion. I wish international calls were a bit less expensive so I use the feature sparingly, though reception is quite good. I don't text much so the keypad isn't much of an issue. The screen is bright and colorful so it's easy on the eyes. This phone and Net10 service make for a good partnership.
I bought this phone for my son to have for emergencies when I am not home. We got home from the store and immediately opened the package and followed the directions on the activation card. I took off the protective cover on the front, put in the battery, placed the back cover on, and plugged it up to the charger. After letting it charge for over an hour (even though the only instructions are to begin charging the phone and then says to turn it on without giving any timeline as to how long you should let it charge first) it wouldn't even turn on!! I thought maybe it was the outlet, so I switched outlets a few times (letting it charge at least 15 minutes each time) and still- NOTHING! Just go with the tracfone and save yourself the headache if you're only getting an emergency phone or one that won't be used much.
