Disclaimer: This is not a state of the art badboy. This is a $10 locked phone. It runs KitKat, and can't be upgraded past that, so there will be a small percentage of Play store apps that won't be available. But dang! it does a lot for the price point. Netflix was a trifle stuttery but it works, on Wifi. Minecraft is a bit hard to control on the small screen, but works just fine. Voice and video chat work fine on FB Messenger's app. The video is a bit jerky, but hey, $10 phone. I mean, you'd spend that much on a book or a couple of magazines, or a single non-functional toy for your kid. And wow, you're getting every free game from Google Play, email, Web browser, Netflix, ebooks, and more? If you break it or lose it, $10 replacement, woot! It comes with a charger, also.
Great phone. Does everything as advertised. Love the free wifi, bluetooth and triple minutes.
I purchased this phone as a extra phone for only 10 dollars, I have no complaints, it functions much better than other smart phones that I've had, this is a perfect phone for a child and the tracfone service is so affordable, I wouldn't, hesitate because I have seen this phone sell out fast!
I could not believe how great a phone I received for such a great price. It does everything I need it to do and with no monthly obligation. I didn't know I could get an android on the prepaid plan. I just put time on it ever few months as a need it and I am good to go just like with my other cell phone. Only this phone does so much more than my old one. Was able to transfer my number and minutes quickly and with no problem. I highly recommend this phone.
We have had 2 of this model, wife & me for 6 months or so. She had a Sprint that cost her $40 a month and never used all the air time and lost the un used air time every month. I had a company phone. When I retired I got this phone, costs us less than $7 a month each for airtime. We got the phones for less than $10 at Wal Mart, must have been on special. Never a single problem with either phone. We're delighted with both phones. Use them everyday, usually on wifi.
My Daughter LOVE'S it.
I picked this up a few days ago for less than $10, added the 2-year protection plan for $5, and a case and screen protectors for another $5, so just over $20 invested. My purpose was not for cell access, but to use it as a Wi-Fi enabled media player and GPS for offline geocaching. I like the idea of a small and easy to use Internet connected device running Android so I can port over the apps I've already purchased and am familiar with. I swapped the included 4GB card for a 32GB card from an old broken device and have my music and audiobooks. This LG L15G Sunrise isn't as fast and lacks the resolution of my Galaxy S6, but, hey, it's a $10 device! But it works smoothly, runs my apps, and I can send/receive text and make/receive phone calls over Wi-Fi without additional purchases (using GrooveIP or HangOuts). And the battery lasts well over 12 hours with plenty to spare. I can always activate Tracfone Wireless later in an emergency, but for now it's meeting my needs just fine. Currently out of stock in stores, but if you can grab one online, you should!
I got this phone after washing my previous one accidentally. For it's relatively cheap price, it can do quite a lot, which impressed me. As much as I like the phone though, it can't play Pokemon Go. This phone was only meant to be temporary until I got something a bit better, though my initial amazement with the phone kept me hanging on. However, not being able to play Go was the catalyst that inspired me to change phones. If you're pretty casual though, this phone is great with internet, service, and apps.
I purchased this phone recently. It has a lot of features, however the two couple things that needs to be improved is the battery goes down fast, and the camera isn't good. It took a while to transfer the contacts.
My phone recently ran out of data, although I hardly ever use data. I went to Tracfone's website to check my data usage but it is not available there. I chatted online with 2 support personnel who told me that I could text USAGE to 611611 and it would return my data usage to my phone. All it returned was my service end data and the number to call to get your remaining balance. I have a Tracfone LG android phone. I told the support people that, but they kept insisting it would return my usage. The first person even told me that 180 MB every 3 months is not enough data. I then called the support line. The first person kept putting me on hold to talk to his supervisor and said he was working on the problem. That took about 30 minutes. I finally got him to transfer me to a supervisor who could not help me. I got her to transfer me to the supervisor of supervisors and all he could do was tell me that I am out of data. Their support people do not have access to your data usage. He told me to open the My Tracfone Account app on my phone. When I told him I could not log in, he said that is because I am out of data and then he disconnected me. This was after spending about an hour on the phone with them but getting nowhere. Maybe background usage used up all of my data which would be my fault for the settings on my phone, but you should be able to see your data usage from your service provider and they should provide better support.
