Great phone. It is sleek, slim, bright and easy to use. The folded edges on the screen is new and a very nice touch. Camera is unreal. It's superfast. Size of edge fits hand great. I just love it!
I love my new Samsung s6 edge it has some really amazing features . I love the camera I have never had a phone that took such amazing pictures. For instance I was working on my bonsai trees and I looked over and in top of one of the tree's was a beautiful dragon fly. I pulled my Samsung out and snapped couple of shots. Then I posted the photos on Facebook and the response was incredible. People were sharing and making comments like I was a professional photography wondering where they could purchase copies I'm seriously thinking of entering the shot in a photo contest. And where ever I go when people see my Samsung phone they always make comments about how clear the display of the phone is and how phenomenal it looks.. I am also very impressed with the high quality sound when listing to my favorite music. They make it so easy to use . I love how It was so easy to transfer all my favorite Samsung apps and all my personal contacts to my new Samsung phone. Oh yeah I almost forgot with all the incredible features it has its easy to forget the phone which am very impressed with I haven't had a dropped call yet . Samsung has really nailed this one.
The Gallery photo editor effects are magnificant, especially the Sketch option. It is the best I've found on desktop or smartphone software by far. I hope that these options carry over to software on new tablets and the S7 as well. I wish i could find this particular feature in a stand-alone mode so that I could apply it to a full directory of photos. In any case, great work--I've gotten a significant amount of milage from this among all my apple user friends. See attached photo from a recent Antarctica trip.

Took a nature hike this weekend I took picture with my Samsung edge 6, when I printed my pictures the colors of the stream and trees where beautiful. my grandson son owns a Samsung III and now he wants the edge, my husband owes a different phone and he was amazed at the clarity of the pictures.
This phone is great. It was advertised as "new", and so it is. It came in a sealed package with all expected manuals and accessories. It is an AT&T unlocked phone and I had no problems at all connecting to T-Mobile. The phone performs extremely well and looks beautiful. Walmart's delivery was "spot on". The phone arrived on the date promised and was well packaged.
I never was a Samsung fan when it came to their cell phones. Their product always felt cheap, and flimsy, and I preferred a phone that feels substantial, made of metal and glass, so I went with the HTC One M7 device a few years ago. I've watched HTC offer new models, but without anything that excited me. Then comes along the Galaxy S6 Edge - everything I've always wanted in a phone. The display is breathtaking, and so is the camera. The fit and finish - spectacular. I love EVERYTHING about this device - the only gripe I have, albeit a minor one, is the placement of the back arrow key - most devices have it on the left, Samsung put it on the right. Other than that, Samsung, you have a winner here!! Congrats!
I owned a Samsung s5 that was nearly indestructible - I loved it. However, after dropping it a million times while out running, it finally met its fate. I definitely got my money's worth out of that phone though. So, I went to the cell phone store and made the uneducated decision to buy the S6 Edge. I didn't know much about the phone, but it was a newer model and I liked the size. It's very slick (as in slippery), especially due to the "edge" design. Within two days of owning this phone, the back got a massive crack in it, not because it was dropped, but because the phone was tapped "just so" on a corner. This phone is horribly slippery and fragile, so unless you already have a safety case for the phone, don't buy it. I wish I could have waited for the s7 to come out, but I needed a phone at the time. If I had been more educated, I would have bought the s6 Active, because they are less fragile and more water resistant. In short, I am disappointed with the structure and design of the phone - no one wants their brand new phone to be banged up within a two days of owning. I understand most people will call the damage a user error, which it is to a degree. Nonetheless, the software is still holding up and I'm quite happy with that. Would I recommend this phone to someone? No. I'd recommend the s6 Active or the s7 (which is also a bit hardier).
Pros: 1. This phone is EXTREMELY FAST. Quad-Core. 64 Bit. 3GB RAM. Even with many start up programs, such as Facebook, Twitter, ESPN, etc , the phone starts up and runs in seconds. 2. The screen is BEAUTIFUL. At 1440 x 2560, it's crystal clear, and easy to read. The Edge feature is a bit under-used and glitchy in my opinion, but Android is always working on upgrades. 3. The battery life is good. It lasts me about 2 full days of medium/heavy use. Yes, the battery does not come out, but if you plan to keep this phone for only 2 years then upgrade, whats the difference? 4. This phone's design is the best I've ever seen on a Samsung product. This is my third Samsung phone, (in 8 years) and I can tell that the Gorilla Glass and metal construction on this phone are premium and built to last. Cons: 1. The biggest con I can see is the price. It's a great phone, but simply not worth the $$$ they ask for it. Perhaps when the phone is around for 6-12 months the price will come down? 2. Samsung Bloatware. After the S4 and the S5 we were told the S6 would have "less" bloatware included in it......it's a lie. The S6 Edge has tons of useless apps that will never be used by me, and I had to DISABLE( can't uninstall) them just to get everything under control. 3. Android 5. (Lollipop) It's not as intuitive as it's previous versions, or maybe that's just the way Samsung sets it up.....I find myself digging deep in many sub-menus just to do basic things. That's subjective though.
Never had a issue with my previous Galaxy phones until now. When I go to crop a pic the whole screen turnes like faded white, When im watching a video it goes in black mode in & out but i can hear it, when Im in the music player the screen goes faded white, like i said Ive had most of your best phones & never had this much problems, in my opinion its the update because for having same issues, it has to be that. Ive been sent a replacement & as soon as it updates, The glicthes begin, Im hoping theres a fix to this because I need my phone in working order.
