A Great Phone!

I absolutely love this phone! I fell in love w/ it the minute i got it. The texting is great as well as the web browsing! The touch screen is great...very accurate!...I will say that the only down side is the battery life...it dies before half the day is over. Other than that i am more than satisfied with this phone!

I have had this phone since it released in June this year i haven't had not one problem i hear that some people have had problems with them not being able to dial numbers while on a call but u can easily fix that i have done it myself! If you like touch screen phones and you like to text and get on the inet then this is your kind of phone and the best part is that its smaller than the voyager and it has more capabilities!

Excellent phone

The phone is excellent! It has two QWERTY keyboards, one touch, and another one, once the unit is flipped open. The touch is very easy to use, and is not overly sensitive (even after dropping!). I've recommended this phone to three of my friends, and they love it. The biggest complaint is the size, but look at all that you get with it. It's awesome. And the camera/camcorder. By the picture quality, you would never believe that the pix are from a camera phone (even concert pictures). I typically don't buy cell phones based on cameras, but this phone has changed that thought for the better! And if you travel out of the country, the phone has a setting called "Airplane Mode" that essentially turns off communications features. The clock still works (although the time will be off a couple of hours) as well as other functions, like the alarm. But, while traveling abroad, Airplane Mode will allow you to use your phone (no calls or text) and avoid those nasty roaming charges. Handly little feature...trust me!!! My favorite phone ever! Best LG phone ever!

Okay, the first review I read on here, the male/female complained about the phone freezing and what not, but then the rest of the reviews seemed pretty nice, although I didn't get too far, my only suggestion to the first person who had major problems with this phone, you probably just got a bad apple, there's always going to be some technology that you buy that may not work all correctly like the others have....my suggestions are, get a new LG EnV touch or complain to your service provider and find out what the deal is. Any way, my review on this LG EnV Touch phone is that I completely love it, I mean I think it's the best phone I've ever had... (not that I've had many to begin with) However, I've only had this phone for like 3 days, but my boyfriends mother has this phone and she's had it for awhile and she enjoys it. I really like the touch screen on this phone, it's very easy to use, unlike some of my friends, they have weird wacky touch screens that are just plain irritating! However, I love this touch screen and I absolutely adore the keyboard, it's very spacious and it's not hard at all to use, it usually takes me awhile to figure out the keyboard on a new phone and type correctly, but I got a hold of it really fast, so that's another plus. It's a very nice handy dandy phone, and I suggest it to anyone. Then again, I've only had this phone for 3 days or so and there still needs to be time before I call it fantastical, but then again I know people who have it and adore it!

I found my perfect phone!

I wanted a phone with advanced features and a big, beautiful touch screen without paying for a data plan. I got this phone about a month ago and it's perfect. The screen is wonderfully responsive, the menus are easy to navigate, and it's great being able to put shortcuts on the home screen. The speakers are loud enough for listening to music, but I also love the option of hooking in headphones (standard 3.5mm) when I want. Multitasking while listening to music is great. My only complaint as far as music goes is that if I get a text while listening to music, the music stops and won't resume until I close or answer the text. This is solved by putting the phone in "music only" mode when I need to. The camera is great and offers some fun features (panoramic shots, "intelligent" mode, smile detector, facial makeover). It also has an auto-focus feature, which is really important for taking decent pictures up close. Texting is a cinch. The keys on the QWERTY keyboard are nice and big. You can also use the T-9 WORD input on the touch screen for one-handed texting. You can even turn the phone and use the virtural QWERTY keyboard on the front touch screen! Pretty much every texting option is available to you with this phone. I haven't used the browser on it, so I can't comment on the quality of that. I basically feel like this phone offers all the qualities you'd expect from a newer, data plan-required phone without the cost of the data plan. I'm planning on keeping this phone for a loooong time.

Great Phone, Not So Great Battery

This phone is basically the second generation Voyager. It's about the best a phone can get before being designated as a smart phone. The touchscreen is very responsive. The Camera and flash are absolutely top notch. Internet browsing is set up really well, and the keyboard is probably the best out there, for any carrier. Texting on this bad boy is a breeze. When my girlfriend texts on her Env Touch, it sounds like someone is popping popcorn in the microwave, Crazy-fast, lol. Signal is not quite as good as my env2 was. Lastly, and almost a deal breaker, the battery is extremly bad on the enV Touch. Constantly having to charge the phone throughout the day is a nuisance. A buddy of mine actually traded his env touch for his old dare simply because of the battery. I hope verizon realizes the issue and is trying to fix it.

Best basic phone I ever had!

I have had this phone for about three years. It is a good transfer phone for people that aren't sure about a touch screen. This has both touch screen and full inside keyboard. I got this phone because it has two screens, figured this way if I ever broke one screen I would still have the other. Recently I have had issues with lighting on the phone going from bright to dark and it likes to randomly shut off with a full charged battery. Overall, it was a great phone but I think it is getting to the end of its life.

Opinion so far

I've only had this phone for 2 days and so far I really like it. it has a lot of cool features and the camera is great. I love having the touch screen and the full keyboard always avaliable. The only issues that I have with the phone so far are some kinks in the messaging software, i'm hoping LG will be able to repair these with a software update. When using T9 you cannot backspace to change a word. eg. if you want to write 'save' the first word to come up is 'rate' by hitting next it gives you 'save' however if you hit space first then back up to hit next and change the word it does not change it. You have to delete the whole word and rewrite it and hit next. Also, if you are writing a text on the inside screen using the full keyboard and you close the phone to use the touch screen the message closes to drafts it does not remain on the screen like it does when you go from using the touch screen to the inside screen. Other than those two issues I've had no problems with the phone, they just bug me a little because I use the phone mostly for text and they def stand out as issues to me. But overall I would recommend this phone.

I've owned several LG phones and never had quality problems. I liked this phone at first. However, it would call people, change settings, turn off etc. all in my pocket. So I started using the full passcode screen lock and it did not help. The warranty period just expired a month or two ago and now niether the touch screen or the inside flip screen work. just get black. all the keys work and I can feel the little vibraton when I touch the screen but cant see anything. I can make calls if I use the keypad. I can recieve calls and txts but cant view the txt or who is calling. very disappointed with the quality of this LG.
