I purchased one of these playhouses for my granddaughter when she was five years old. Except for a little fading of the colors, it is still in perfect shape. The only thing missing is the telephone! By the way, my granddaughter will be twenty-six in a month. Her son plays in the house now.
I purchased this playhouse for my first son when he was 18 months old, that was 14 1/2 years ago and three more kids later it's still in GREAT shape. I LOVE "STEP 2" products....they're built to last. The price may seem steep, but 14 1/2 years later, it's still being used.....my youngest just turned two on Oct. 21st and absolutely LOVES playing with this!!! Again, the price my seem high....but it's well worth paying for something that you know will last!!! Hope this helps......ENJOY!!!
This playhouse is great! My girls love it! It's big, but not too big. It's a little expensive, but if you don't mind spending a little more, it's perfect. There's not a huge amount of features, pretty much just the phone, clicky knobs on the stove, and the doorbell. It's still fantastic though! My girls do love that doorbell! Just to let everyone know, you are paying for the house only. I strongly advise buying a couple of sturdy plastic chairs for your kids to use in this house. Also, I recommend purchasing a set of pots and pans, and some play food. There are really good sets online here: "Step2 101-Piece Food Assortment" and "Step2 LifeStyle Dining Room and Pots & Pans Set". With these you should be all set!
