I bought this for my granddaughter, she loves it. I love it for her she has so much fun @ 16 mo. I think she will love it even more as she gets older. Simple assembly. Slightly smaller interior than I thought No floor
my kids absolutely love this playhouse. Easy to build, very sturdy, overall great! Make sure and u purchase batteries need 4 AAA.
I cannot wait to see my granddaughter's eyes when she gets her playhouse on Christmas Eve. She loves to get in the smaller one I got for her birthday, but this one will blow her away! It was quickly shipped and Wal Mart at Manchester, KY was very helpful in getting it loaded.
Purchased for our 2 year old grandson. He assisted his Dad during construction. Went together easily, sturdy, colorful, doorbell and phone a huge hit. Very pleased with this purchase.
My husband put it together with my daughter and I just holding the screws in about 45 minutes. You need a cordless drill. My 2 grandkids ages 3 years and 19 months absolutely loved it. We put it up in the basement for now but plan on putting it outside this spring.
We have a 16 month old and a 9 year old and they both love this house. Our 16 month old loves the seat on the front porch and the doorbell! She also loves to go in and out and open and shut the door. Our 9 year old also fits in it with her little sister and likes to use it as a hideout to read books in when her sister is not inside playing. I love that it is attractive; many of the other houses we looked at were very gaudy this one looks great in our basement. My husband put it together by himself with the help of a power screwdriver in less than a half hour. Given the size of the playhouse and quality of materials I feel it is a fair deal at the price.
Sure it's cute and all, but a bit small for what it's worth. It's fine for my average sized 19mo to stand around inside by himself (without any toys or stuff), but if you put another kid his size in there, they'd just bump in to each other over and over. The picture makes it look a little bigger than it is and of course you can't find dimensions of the inside area alone. All in all, it looks nice in the backyard under a tree and the kid loves it. Is it worth $250? Ehh...maybe not, but there aren't many decent alternatives out there.
Should have been easy assembly since it was supposed to have all holes pre-drilled. The only tool necessary should have been a screwdriver. But when I began to assemble it, I found there were no predrilled holes. Very frustrating. Half hour assembly then turned into 2+ hours by the time I.had to drill holes.
Bought this for 3yr old granddaugther and was disappointed with the size of the actual playhouse inside. So tiny inside that 2 people can hardly fit inside. Only one(1) toddler step 2 chair fits inside. the porch is fine. Also not too crazy about the open back wall/half door. I have another step2 playhouse for her @ our house which we really like (playhouse cottage), but we didn't want to have the same playhouse @ her home. We wanted 2 different ones. House is over priced for the size also! If I still had the box I'd return the playhouse, and buy something different.
When we put it together one one the Windows has a dent in it. We only had a couple of hours before my daughter's birthday party. And I know if I returned it. It was going to take a week or two to get an other one. We are very disapointed with it. The play cost a lot of money. It should not had a dent in it.
