I bought this for my two grandkids so they would not fight over chairs. It's easy to put together and if you bought them seperatly and the umbrella it would cost you just as much if not more and you would not get a table inbetween the chairs. They are very light weight, not very durable for rough-housers, but if not kicked around and treated right, should be okay. My grandson who is 1 1/2 likes to walk up and tip them over and it has not effected them. The umbrella does not fasten to the chairs, it just sticks into two slots and the wind blew it out over night, so I am going to look into something to hold in it better. Overall, it's not a bad purchase for $20.00!! The kids love it and the umbrella is a big plus with them!
My 14 month old loves his chairs. Low to the ground (Adirondack style), he can get in and out easily. It is lightweight plastic, so be careful that it doesn't tip back if they are climbing on it. We rigged the umbrella so it doesn't blow out easily- it originally just went through the hole and sat on an extended piece of plastic. Hopefully, he will be able to use this for a couple of years. The only negative thing- the plastic was a little thinner than I expected, but doesn't seem to be an issue. Great thing is it is made in the USA!!
I bought this chair for my toddler grandaughter. It is soooo cute and very easy to attach the table to the two chairs. Now she has a place for her and a very small friend to sit when we are outside. It is pretty small so she will only be able to use it for about a year but for the price, it's worth it.
We gave this as an Easter present to our Granddaughters ages 21 mos. & 3 years. We put their baskets on the chairs. It looked cuter than cute. Having the table in the middle really stabilizes the chairs from tipping over easy like other chairs. The girls LOVE the chairs and the little table is just perfect for them to set their drinks and snacks on. When it warms up, we'll be using this by the pool and even by our fire pit in the evening.
This product is much smaller than I expected. My kids are 5 and 8 and it my 8 year old is out of the question, and my 5 year old is outgrowing it too, but she still sits in it. I would say it is more for the size of an infant to 4 year old.
This set is worth the 20 bucks, plus I used the sitetostore option so I didn't pay for shipping. My only complaint is that the umbrella doesn't lock into anything...so if there is any wind or the kids touch it at all, it tips or falls out. I slides through the back of the table and rests in a little nitch under the table. Overall though, it was worth the $20.00 as my kids use it alot.
This was a nice product but the chairs are very short and the umbrella need to be taller. I purchased this for my granddaughter who just turned three and is tall for her age. She loved it but has to be careful to not bump the umbrella when she sits down or gets up out of the chair. Also, she will be to tall for the chairs before long.
These chairs are great but only great for my two youngest children. My oldest daughter can't sit in her because she is to big. She is only 10!
I ordered this to use at my son's baseball games. It is much smaller than I expected so I couldn't use it for what I purchased it for. I bought it for my son, who is 3 and will be 4 in a month. If your children are 2 and under it will probably work great. My son is having a beach party so I've decieded to use it as decoration or a background for pictures. However, I have a friend who has twins that are 7 months and I've opted to give it to her when we're done. It's very cute though.
The instructions for assembly were no help at all once I figured out how it went together the assembly only took 10-15 minutes. Very small perfect for my 1 year old almost 2 small for my 5 year old. Very light weight, doubt the umbrella would satay at all on a breezy day.
