This product is great for impromptu nerf wars in the office. Don't be stuck on the sidelines or ducking below your desk. Quite accurate from a decent range too. The bow is also stealthier than other pump action nerf toys.
My son LOVES bow and arrows!! However, everytime we buy them from the dollar store they break shortly there after. Not this nerf bow and arrow!! He loves it!!
If you are looking for a nerf sniper rifle, this would be a great start. I bought it for my son, but the need for specialized ammo led me to making a minor modification to allow it to shoot regular nerf darts. The range and accuracy is unbelievable, best yet for an off the shelf minor mod.
This set ROCKS! We used it in our office for a festivity project. 20 different people--different strengths and different sizes--used the bow and it kept on going. Great fun! Good value!
I bought this for my son at Wal-Mart.com as a gift while I am serving with the Vermont National Guard in Afghanistan. The web site was very easy to navigate and very helpfull. My son loves it!
We finally found a bow and arrow that our five year old could pull. Other ones had been too hard and complicated to operate. This one looks great and is easy to use. It's an awesome bow!
This bow does not shoot with the strings, it is just for decoratation. It is pump action air compressed action that shoots it, similar to other nerf guns. It is worth the money for the entertainment my son and his friends have gotten from it.

We bought this for my five year old and he loves it! He's just strong enough to pull it back and shoot it himself. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because it only came with 3 darts and they don't sell replacements in the store (they are bigger than the normal nerf darts). But I did call Hasbro and they mailed me extras for $1 a piece. So that was easy enough!
For the little tyke who loves to go hunting, this bow is an excellent toy. I suggest buying extra ammo though, as the arrows can fly high enough to be stuck on a roof if aiming at a bird :)
