Gave this Blaster to my son @ Christmas and he Loves it.
My stepson loves this toy. They never had Nerf guns like this when I was a kid!
Excellent service . We received our item ahead of schedule, worked out perfect for our Grandson's birthday!
Bought this blaster for my nephew. First one had a loose wire in the battery compartment and Walmart replaced it with no questions asked! Second one works like advertised - the Rhino Fire is the most powerful Nerf Blaster ever!
My boys love these guns. They seem to be well made, though we have only had them for one month. The tripod is really cool and seems durably made and attached. Collapses when you pick up your "weapon", I thought that was a nice feature. Get some goggles. And the "bullets" really sting when you get hit. Though my boys think that's great. The dog isn't too happy about it.....
This is an amazing gun! A must have in your collection!
As far as looks go this has it. As for as how it actually works, not so much. Magazines constantly jam to the point the boys actually use the "straight" magazines from some of their other guns. It's pretty sad when the child actually prefers using the smaller hand held gun because of all the issues with jams. I don't like the jamming because it messes up the bullets which means more $.
I bought this for my sons sixth birthday and he loves the toy. I would have given it 4 or maybe even 5 stars except for the fact that the 25 round drums that come with the gun do not like generic darts. I completely understand the risks you are taking by not buying the Nerf Brand darts, but my son has accumulated thousands of darts over the couple of years he has enjoyed his Nerf guns and trying to get a six year old to sort his darts and only use Nerf brand elite darts in this particular gun is a complete waste of time. Instead, I spend more time getting the gun unjammed than my son spends playing with it. I would only recommend using Nerf brand elite darts in this gun. Otherwise, it is a great toy, both dad and son approve!
The gun worked okay on it's first round. After that, my son spent more time unjamming the gun than he did actually shooting the gun. After about two hours of trying to get it to work correctly, the 8 D batteries were DEAD!!!!! We finally gave up after searching the Internet and utube; we found that lots of people had problems with this gun. We took it back and bought two different guns for the same total price.
Will not hold batteries in place so there fore it will not work. A wasted 132.00. It was bought as a Christmas gift and the box was ripped apart and trashed before we put batteries in it. when we put the batteries in they kept popping back out. the cover is too loose to hold them down so they will not get contact for the gun to work. It is obviously a manufacter defect so I am going to approach both Wal Mart and The maker of Nerf to see if this issue can be resolved. All I know is I paid 132.00 and had a very disappointed grandson on Christmas morning since this was his main gift he wanted and was the main one we bought. We bought 9 other Nerf guns also but none as expensive as this one.
