Umbrella is perfect for little tots picnic tables, light weight and does the job. priced very reasonable.
I am so glad that Wal-Mart offers these umbrellas at such a great price! We had one that came with our sand and water table that we purchased last year, but we were negligent and left it out in a few wind/thunder storms. It actually withstood quite a lot of abuse from the weather before it finally became unusable. I was so pleased with the price of these umbrellas that this year I bought 2- one for the sand and water table and one for the picnic table (both Step2 brand). These umbrellas are stylish, provide excellent shade, the height is very easy to adjust, and they are very portable. This year I will try to be more conscientious and bring them out of the weather each day! ...But even if I don't, it's nice to know they are so affordable to replace! :-)
I had searched quite a while to find this umbrella. I wanted it for my daughters Little Tikes picnic table. I wasn't expecting too much because the price was so great. I was pleasantly surprised! Well made, great colors and large size that will cover more than I had anticipated! I am thrilled with the purchase and may even buy another to have on hand!
This product is wonderful for the money. Other ones I have looked at in stores have been at least twice as much and not any better. My daughter loves it too. We bought it for our Fisher Price picnic table and it fits perfectly!
I really like the size of the opened umbrella and the very light weight of it. I only wish I could figure out a better way to stand it up. Poking it in the ground makes it too short and holding it gets tiring... I am thinking of stacking a few big cement bricks and then putting the stand through the holes. I bought it for the sand table and other outdoor play, so having a movable stand would be super. A great invention would be similar to the sand/water weighted stands used for basketball hoops. if I find a "stand," I will use it daily.
I was very pleasantly surprised with this umbrella. I thought it may be too small but it is a good size and provides lots of shade. It goes with a picnic table but it also has a pointed post so you can stick it in the ground anywhere. We use it for shade at soccer games.
I ordered this to replace the umbrella that came with the Step2 Sand Table. The original umbrella was blown away in a storm. My fault, I live in the Windy city and the original umbrella served as a cover and had safety straps you could secure around the bottom which I didn't have secured. I ordered this umbrella figuring it would also have the straps, it does not. So it basically works as a sun shade. It has to be removed at night and does not serve as a cover. If your looking for shade only this is the way to go for the money.
Nice kid umbrella for the price. This is the third Step 2 umbrella I have purchased to go with our Naturally Playful Step 2 picnic table. I would say we typically go through one a year. However, since you can pick them up for around $13, it is still worth it. They seemed to get a little better each year and are overall much nicer than the one that originally came with the table. Now I just assume I will be buying one each year, so when it does break, it's not that big of a deal.
I bought a table that came with this exact umbrella. Unfortunately it broke within days. If you do buy this and you use it outside i would definitely unfold it after you use it. I had it up all day and night and it got windy and it broke. Other then that this umbrella is perfect. It has a pointy end on the bottom which is perfect for putting into the ground. I definitely recommend this
I ordered this umbrella to go with my kid's picnic table. I was suprised that the material did not seem any more sturdy than a regular rain umbrella so I was a little worried about how long it would last and knew that I would have to bring it in if it got windy. However, when I went to put it in the table i noticed that it had 2 small tears in it (like it was slit with a knife) so I decided to take it back. I had no problems returning it to the store (even though I ordered online) and they refunded me the purchase price plus shipping. That was great. A nice idea but not the quality I want. It is only $13 so not bad for the price.
