i liked this gun it was very cool but it broke after a while. don't load and fire as fast as you can, you will brake the slide pin. trust me, it's what happened to me.
I bought this for my son and he said it was one of the best nerf guns he's gotten. The revolving barrel works great. His father and Uncle enjoyed playing with it also.
This gun was a present to me and it performs pretty well.The distance is good from what you expect from a nerf gun and it takes all the types of darts.Plus the handle to this gun is a lot more comterable then some other ones. Though it has only 6 darts it can be reloaded pretty fast.
I have two of these, and they are my weapon of choice for short skirmishes. They fire just about every variety of Nerf dart out there, so you don't have to be picky when salvaging ammunition. Plus, the nifty cylinder release button allows you to quickly reload during lulls in combat. The spring-return slide is very handy, as it allows you to dual-wield the revolvers, racking the slide with your pants pockets (or anything else nearby). However, reloading the cylinder takes both hands, and is not as fast as a clip-fed weapon. Rail mount on the slide allows you to add sights, if desired. Overall, this is a very well-rounded weapon and a blast to shoot. Just make sure you get some extra darts!
This is a great gun. I bought it with great expectations and it met them and went beyond. This gun hhas great range 25 or 30 ft. It fires farther than the firefly and almost as far as the raider which both cost at least 15 dollars more. It hardly ever jams ( ie. nerf darts sticking out too far) and if it does it is so much easier to fix than a clip system gun which is crucial in battle. The only problem i have with it is the rail being on the loading mechanism. if you put a tactical light or something else on it, It gets in your way and is really cluky. Other than that it is a great gun. If you are a beginner or are just looking to add another gun to your aresenal, i highly recommend this gun.
This product seems to be made well and durable. My 7 year old son has had hours of fun with it mostly indoors on bad weather days (it is almost impossible to damage anything with it). I bought two for when friends come over. Nice toy.
Best gun i've ever owned i got it a year or to back and still use it non stop if your going to buy any gun that your going to fight within 30 feet with BUY THIS!
Apparently I ordered two and am I glad I did. It's a fun toy for my son and his friends to play with and works great. I would definitely recommend buying more darts as they go fast and get lost easily. Especially if used outside.
A few days after i bought this product it wouldn't work anymore. i took it apart and tried to fix it. I got it to work but not as well as when i first bought it. my advise would be, keep the receipt and be ready to return it.
One of the mavericks I bought was good, but the other did not shoot far enough to be effective against my hallmates. My suggestion is to be prepared to return your maverick, or switch to water guns.
