My son just got this for his 1st b-day and he likes it. It was easy for him to catch on to the rocking motion and getting it to rock on his own. The sounds that it has are a great concept, but the little speakers could be better. Some of the sounds come across as kind of fuzzy sounding; they're just not very clear, so some of the sounds just seem noisy to me. My son doesn't seem to really care for the sounds at all, he just like to rock back and forth in it. It sits low to the ground, so even if he falls off of it, which has only happened once when he really got to rocking hard, he's okay as long as he's on the carpet (he didn't fall very hard since it sits so low, so he didn't even cry when he fell off; he just wanted right back on. It was more like he just slid off of it.) This is definitely made for babies that can sit up really well, so you're baby should probably be pulling up and/or walking before they use this. Overall, I'd say this is a pretty good toy.
I expected this toy to be a bit more heavy duty than it was. Basically it's a big blue hollowed out piece of plastic with a sound box on it. My son liked the siren and sounds, but got bored with it fast. He's only 1 yr old so he may grow more interested in the future. But overall I wasn't very impressed especially for the price.
