I ENJOYED PLAYING WITH THIS PRODUCT, BUT I DID NOT CARE FOR THE BUILDING PART. I KNOW THAT ITS PART OF THE REASON I PURCHASED IT, BUT I THOUGHT IT WAS HARD. I ALSO FOUND THAT SOME PIECES WERE MISSING AND I HAD TO IMPROVISE. I STILL WOULD PURCHASE THIS ITEM AGAIN IF I NEEDED TO.
This was so much fun to put together and play! Bought this for a 9 year old girl who loves to build with legos and play board games. It is definitely a game to play together.
The game and concept looked like a lot of fun but it took a long time to put together, the pieces didn't hold together very well and in the end I think it would have been just as much fun (or more) to just play the classic version of the game. I think it's too easy to lose pieces and once they're gone, so is the game. I only paid $5 for it on sale, and I do think it was worth that much, but I'm not sure I would have wanted to pay more than that.
I purchased this game for my 9 year old. I didn't really know what to expect. I can only say that putting it together and making it work as a game is beyond his comprehension.
this game took too long to put together . I spent 2 hours and the first time my son played it , it started coming apart. I dont reccommend this product if you dont have patience to put together.
for some reason my son isn't too thrilled about this version of connect 4. I had to bribe him to play with me. He enjoyed the game but he hasn't played with it since. I am puzzled to why he is not interested in it. I certainly enjoyed myself
You need to put aside an hour or two because the directions were HARD for me to understand and my 8 year old was lost. It was fun after we put it together but I never dreamed we would have to build that much to play!!
As the name implies, there is building involved. What they fail to mention is that you will need a Lego construction license to be able to do it. It's ridiculous the amount of work involved in assembling a CHILD'S game! I do not recommend this game at all.
As a child I loved this game so I was interested when they came out with an updated version. This is the most difficult game product that I have ever seen. I bought it for Christmas and attempted to put it together. After working to try to assemble it for about 45 minutes, I took it apart and put it in the box. They should have left the classic as it was!
Took 20-30 minutes to assemble this game. During play, the pieces kept coming loose. Spent more time re-assembling the game board than actually playing. Neat concept, but not worth the money.
