This was a Christmas gift for my nine year old nephew and he absolutely loves it!!!! He was so excited when he opened it!! Thank you!! The one he really wanted was the pirate but it was out of stock. I'm hoping it will be available for Easter! This is his second Melissa and Doug puppet. I ordered the chef for his birthday in September. He wants as many as he can get!! Thank you for such great products!!

I can't wait to give this as a gift! It's the same high-quality puppet as those used at my grandchildren's school, which is how I found out about Melissa and Doug products. The kids raved about them, and made my holiday shopping super easy!
The puppet took long to ship, (Maybe it was some kind of problem in the store I had but maybe it will come in the right date at your store, I dont know) but it came in the perfect condition, like it came out fresh from the factory. It has certain features, like the wooden rod that can be removed from the puppet (the rod is used to make the puppets arm move) and also you can remove the puppet's shirt with Velcro (that sticky thing that attach to some kind of hair with tiny hooks that attach to it) but you cannot remove the hat. It's mouth can move by putting your hand inside and move and open your hand to make it move his head and mouth while using your other hand to hold the rod and animate the puppet's hand. I also would like to say that you should by other puppets made from the brand to make a puppet show out of it to entertain your kids and teach them. Excellent product and I suggest it to your kids or yourself to use for many things, like teaching kids, entertain the public, collection, and for skits to share.
The quality of this puppet is really amazing. My Grandson wants to be a policeman when he grows up so I know he's going to love putting on puppet shows with this guy.
Great product. Too many items were squeezed into the shipment, the packaging affected parts of the puppets and had to spend time to strenghten them up. Otherwise wonderful product.
It was good. But the only thing wrong with it was the mouth it was too stiff and it was hard to move.
I ordered this puppet for my son who liked the fact that it has a mustache. Like in the YouTube videos from SML. So I received the package and my son opened it and was upset that it didn't have the mustache like it shows in the picture. Puppet was NOT as pictured :-(
I would give zero stars if available. Opened and it has mold all over the puppet stick and clothing of the policeman. Cannot find any information to return item. Unsafe product.
