This was bought for my 8 year old daughter and she absolutely loves it!
My son really likes this guitar. It was higher in the store. I'm glad I purchased it online. It really is worth the money even if I wouldn't have purchased it online.
This guitar is well made and a good musical instrument for children. I purchased it to save for a birthday gift for a 7-year-old girl, and she will love it. The instruction cards are very helpful, too. Thanks, Walmart, for the great price and for FAST shipping.
This guitar seems well enough built for the kiddies, but I've even picked it up to play once or twice. It didn't initially stay tuned for very long, but tightening the tuning pegs a little seemed to do the trick. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a guitar that is fun to display AND functional as well.
Love ordering online from Walmart.. I always get order when stated and I like the text notification. Products are always exact. Thanks Walmart!!!! However, my child is 8 and this is great for a child under that age.
I purchased three of these for my grandkids for christmas.. they are ages 3, 4 and 9.. all of the kids really like them.. I had them shipped directly to my sons house in Michigan. My son tells me that he thinks they are nice quality for the money. The pic I included is of the 9 and 4 yr old holding theirs. It is a bit big for the 3 and 4 yr olds, but they will grow into it..
pretty durable just don't tighten the strings to tight they will break bought this for my 3 yr old she loves it a family member play in a band and actually tuned it right sounds pretty good for 8 bucks
I bought this for my son for Christmas he absolutely loves it. I love that he loves something like this, but I only gave it four stars because it did not come with the cute pick that I seen at toysrus. I first seen this item in the store, but it was 35 dollars and I only paid 15 dollars online, when I seen the big discount online I had to get it. So for everyone out there Walmart does have better prices than any other store out there.... but walmart.com has way better prices than the Walmart store.
My 5 year old son really enjoys playing with this guitar, although he is in no way a musician. We bought this simply as a toy. It does have real guitar strings and they can snap, which concerns me a little as he does not understand the tuning and so forth. It seems that this would be great for children actually learning to play the guitar. I wouldn't recommend this for use as a toy because it is fragile and needs to be out of reach when the child is not actively playing with it to avoid damage.
Got this Guitar, during Christmas, for my son. He was so excited to get his very own Phineas and Ferb guitar. I was going to get him the pricier one but this is a great item to see if they are really going to get into playing guitar. Hope you enjoy your kiddo gets to enjoy it as much as mine is.
