I wasn't sure that a child's tent for less than $20 would hold up, but this one surprised me. First, it shipped pretty fast, but was still a little late for my granddaughter's 3rd birthday party. She loves all things TinkerBell, so this tent was a big hit with her and the silk-screened TinkerBell looks like it will hold up to time. The tent was easy and quick to put together. The zipper has two pulls which my granddaughter can pull without help. I forgot to measure it when it was set up, but it appears to be the full 3' X 5' as advertised. The tent is well made and has stood up to both playing and sleeping (indoors), so far. NOTE: The inside temperature of the tent was at least 10 degrees warmer than the outside temperature while my granddaughter slept in it. She was hot and sweaty getting out. We did zip up the door, but I didn't put the rain cover on so she would have some ventilation. FYI, room temperature was 72*. So, I would recommend leaving the door partly unzipped for additional ventilation. My only complaints would be the door is 6-7" off the floor; the waterproof floor curves up the sides farther than necessary. And the rain top, buttons on, which is awkward; I would have preferred hooks on the top. It would have been nice to have fabric bags for the poles and stakes rather than flimsy throw-away plastic bags. Putting them in separate bags for storage would reduce the risk of puncturing the tent when putting the poles and stakes in the tent bag. Overall, I am very pleased with this tent and would recommend it to anyone.
This tent is small enough to play with inside and sturdy enough to put up outside. Well worth the money. I expect it to bring years of outdoor fun to my daughter.
The tent looks exactly like it does on the website. The poles are a tight fit but that's okay with me.
This is the best value for the price not to mention the convenience on online ordering. My grandaughter loved it. The quality of the item was a lot better than I expected. I was surprised to find the item at my door 2 days after I ordered it.
When I saw this product online, it was really cute and matched my daughter's other fairy stuff great. When I pulled the product out of the box at home and set it up the tent looked really good and the quality was pretty reasonable for the price- hey, its a kid toy. BUT, even though the title of the product has the dimensions, when it is set up with the matching sleeping bag, (or when you get out the tape measure) it looks bigger in the picture than than it really is. It fits only one kid size sleeping bag-so my girls can't stay in it together. Just playing in it is pretty tight too, and add some chairs, etc. there is not much room. I mean really, a kid's tent for ONE? Who designs these things?! IMHO if I had seen the tent set up in the store I don't think I would have gotten it. It is really cute, though, and if it was a square 5x5 tent it would really be nice, and I would give it five stars.
My daughter received this as a birthday present in February, The tent poles broke today less then 3 months later.
