I brought this as a gift for my niece and she loved it. Great gift at a great price.
This doll is beautiful! Her skintone is gorgeous and the hair is easy to style. Girls of all ages will enjoy playing with this beauty.
We have not played with this yet to review how it works. But when I picked it up after ordering it on-line, I was very surprised to find the doll it about 10 times darker than the picture. Rather than a light/mocha skin, she's got dark skin and dark hair.
The doll does not look anything like the picture. It is a very dark African American doll. Returned the doll so I cannot comment on the hair curling aspects of the doll. Disappointed that the doll looked differently than the picture.
I am returning this product because the doll is not true to its color online. I expected a lighter brown with lighter brown hair, but the doll and her hair are really black, instead of brown. I am not prejudiced, obviously, or I would not have chosen it to begin with, but I was expecting it to be a lighter hair color so that the different "wigs" and "hairpieces" would match from other dolls we own. Did not take it out of the box, so I can't rate the doll and accesories.
