My daughter is 3yrs old and loves to sing. I got her the doll for her B-Day. Her expression on the face was priceless. All she said to me was Thank you Thank you thank you Mami...lol she sings with the Doll everytime she plays with her. She would say that shes a singing princess just like Alexa. Too cute and funny.
The doll I ordered was exactly what my daughter wanted and I can never pick it up for her because she is always with me when we make a trip to walmart. This way it was sealed in a box and she had no idea and now a part of christmas shopping is done for her.
My 5 year old daughter loves her Alexa doll that she received as a gift at Christmas. She also has Liana. If you have one (and of course your child enjoys her) and are contemplating getting the other, I would recommend to. My daughter sings along with them.
I was excited to buy this doll for my daughter because she shares her name! She was very excited and the only problem we've had so far is the batteries dying. Overall, very pleased with this purchase and will probably buy another to keep in the box for when she's older.
I bought this item site to store for my God daughter. She had the first of the two dolls from the movie already. The doll itself is beautiful; however, the two are supposed to sing a song together. My doll sang on her own when I picked her up, but she would not "sync" and sing with her bestfriend. Just be forewarned that even if the doll sings when you go to the store and press the button on her hand, when you get her home to her bestfriend, and she doesn't perform the most important function, it could be a problem for a wide-eyed 3 year old who doesn't understand why she's "broke". We had to exchange her and pray the new one worked.
Other than having a hard time matching the dolls hands and trying to have them sing together they are loved! The dress doesn't transform like the other one. It has a pull string in the back to change the shape. My daughter loves both of the dolls dearly.
My 3 year old daughter received this as a gift for her birthday. It quickly became her favorite toy. However, about a week after she had it her hand broke off. I called mattel and they were very helpful. I am sending them the broken doll and they are sending me a voucher for her replacement. I'm hoping the first one was just defective. The doll was great.
My daughter was disappointed with this doll. The songs are nice and she sings to it, but the way the doll " changes gowns" doesn't live up to the barbie standards. This was a Christmas gift and it wasn't played with but one day. my daughter said it was too loud as well. She became frustrated when she couldn't get the two to sing in sync. She loves dolls and barbie but not this one.
I purchased this for my 4 1/2 yr. old granddaughter. She also got the diamond castle and the Barbie that came with it. This Barbie sings. My granddaughter loves it now but I'm sure in a few weeks it will end up with her other pile of undressed Barbies.
Daughter received this item for Christmas and it never worked. We even bought new batteries and it still does not function. We were disappointed in all of the Diamond Castle line. All of it is cheaply made and over priced. My older daughter received the other doll and it worked fine though.
