I found this to be a useful tool when working with first or second graders -however, it was a little too advanced for kindergarten students ---therefore, my friend is now using it. The children find it very funny and entertaining -while it also teaches them about syntax, parts of speech and reading/language arts, in general.
5 year old loves making silly sentences. He received it for Christmas and is already recognizing many of the words.
Well here it is Christmas! My daughter has not had a chance to play withit yet, but I think it will be a hit. She is getting to know her sounds pretty good and lovs to pronounce and get to know words so I thaught this would be great. She could make her own sentences and get to know the work the more she plays with this bord of words. I'm a sucker for education and leap frog has always been a hit from toys to games to books. I'm sure if it wern't for the pin and the leapster she wouldn't be a advanced as she is today, she has come a long was with the education of leap frog.
helps my 4 yr old spell and pronounce words and colors. it hold words on back and front sides of each tile. and also teaches her how to listen and follow instructions.
