This is a fun game for the whole family. Our children's ages range from 2 to 7 and everyone enjoys it. The mule has three different settings that you can change to make it either very hard or very easy for him to buck. On the first setting, he will buck if you barely touch him. On the second and third settings, he doesn't buck as easily, making it easier for the younger children to play. Their favorite part of course is when he bucks and sends the objects flying! There is much giggling and squealing when my kids play this game. Fun!
We have family game night once a week, and have played buckaroo many times. We adjust the setting to how we want to play and have a great time. Never had one problem. Our 4 year old loves it.
Got this as a Christmas gift for my 5 year old and he loves it! Very easy concept to winning the game and his younger siblings are catching on to what to do! Great family fun!
Well thankfully we did not have the any of the problems that the other families had. This game was bought for my 6yr old when she was 4. We would play it as a family and found it to be just like the commercial described. Of course with all small children, some of the parts did get lost or misplaced, but while we had all the pieces, it was a fun and silly game to play!!!
We had the very opposite problem. We puchased this game for our then 3 year old. Once we got home he was SO excited to play. We set it up, put everything on the buck and sat there. He never bucked. We basically have to push on him in order for him to move. No matter what setting, it doesn't work. Very poorly made.
We got this game as a gift for my then 3 yr old we have had it for a year and have gotten it out maybe 6 times.Ours worked like it was supposed to but after a while he just got bored and he stopped playing with it, we even gave it to a friend and they returned it with the same problem. Just not much fun after the first 3-4 times. Maybe we just expected more out of it it looked like so much fun on TV.
The object of this game is to load the horse down with his stuff before he bucks it all off. Well, the problem is that you can BARELY touch it and it will buck. An adult couldn't even manage this game! Forget it!
We bought this last year for our 6 yr old and 4 yr old twins for Christmas. It is now almost Christmas time again and they may have played it a total of 5 times. We have the exact opposite problem of the other reviewers - it bucks at the slightest touch no matter what setting I out it on. This is really aggravating for the kids because they don't get to put anything on it. I started holding it down while they put the stuff on until they were ready to see all of the pieces fly. Don't waste your time or your money.
The point of this game is to take a turn putting your piece on the horse without it "bucking" or you will be out.Well we played until all peices were on numerous times and he rarely never bucks.My son plays with the horse as a toy.You should pick another game this one is a waste of money and will have your child trying to figure out what they did wrong.Thats the game I guess!
I bought this game a month ago and my 3yr old was excited to bring it home and play with it. The game never bucks. I have piled all the pieces on many times and it has never bucked one time on either of the levels. I would not recommend it to anyone.
