Bought this as a Christmas gift for granddaughters, so they have not played with it yet. This toy is about as real as it gets. It meowed on and off all the way home from the store. In fact, it is hidden in the garage for now--will not go under the Christmas tree until Christmas Eve so the kids don't think I wrapped up a real kitty! It is adorable. They are going to have a ball with this kitty--and no messy cat box or smelly food to deal with.
Lulu is a very realistic toy; kind of hard to find, and Wal-Mart definitely had the best price. She came turned on, though, and I couldn't turn her off without opening the box, so I left her on. She meowed and moved even after being wrapped, and kind of "let the cat out of the bag", so to speak. My granddaughter loved her, though, and that's all that matters.
We have fooled alot of people with this cat, it is so real looking and it acts like a real cat too. I had originally bought this for my daughters christmas gift but it was too cute to stay in the box. She has fallen in love with her kitty.. The price is high but so worth it. You will not be disappointed with this cat.
I love this kitty. Acts just like a real cat. I purchased this for myself and fell in love with it. It's incredible how life-like it really is...My real cats growled and hissed when they first saw it. It was delivered to my work and all of my adult-co-workers immediately wanted one. Highly recommended by me. I wish I had toys like this when I was a child.
My daughter loves animals, but we can't have one in our apartment. She walked by this cat at the store and set it in action via the motion sensor. She flipped out! We had to tear her away from it, but ended up buying one later as an early birthday present. When you pet it, it does all of the expected things, such as purring, licking it's paw, blinking eyes, rolling over, etc. Where it gets down right creepy is when you leave it alone. It will 'meow' once in awhile, blink it's eyes, open it's mouth, shake it's head then twitch one ear as if it has an itch. Sometimes it will yawn then look around a little, then go to sleep only to wake up again after several minutes. All of this is done at random intervals so it doesn't look repetative and thus fake. My daughter carries this around and hugs/squeezes it a lot. So far it has held up well to the abuse. Makes me glad we don't have a 'real' cat (sorry Lulu, I didn't mean to say that), until she gets older! For the price, the robotics of this toy is ingenius. Mark Twain once said; "A man who holds a cat by it's tail, will learn a lesson that he can learn in no other way."........I'm not going to test that theory! : )
My granddaughter has been wanting a cat but her sister is highly allergic...so LuLu the Cuddlin'Cat was the ideal solution. It's so lifelike that her friends think she has a real kitty. It's fur is so soft and the motions so real. It goes with her everywhere. Grandma found the purr-fect birthday gift.
I purchased Lulu for someone bed ridden that loves animals. It really gave her great joy. Lulu did everything I expected and performed great. I recommend Lulu for anyone wanting a pet but is unable to care for it and for anyone needing stimulation of the mine and body.
Product is ideal for a child that does not have a pet. It sounds life-like and worked when removed from the excellent packaging. I am a little concerned that the batteries included are a little weak. When I started to wrap the gift for Christmas, it did not seam to operate as quickly. I will include new batteries with the gift. Hopefully, it will work when my little niece opens it at Christmas. She will be very disappointed if it does not respond & so will I. I received my shipment rather quickly and love the convenience of ordering on-line. I checked various stores before ordering and found the price was very reasonable.
I played with this toy in a store and fell in love with it. As a cat lover it was too cute for words. But the price tag was a bit outrageous that is until I went to Walmart!! It was about $10-$12 cheaper then in other retail stores. We were able to get one and for the same price it came with a fur real kitten!! It's even cuter then the all white Fur Real cat my niece has. The sounds are real and the fur is so soft. I love when it roles over to sleep! It really does look so real from a distance! My 1 cat tries to play with it my other runs and hides!! I'd def. say it's a must have for all cat lovers (even if your not a kid)!!!
Very interesting technology. This cat is fun for my daughter to play with since she can't have a real cat. I think that a couple things could be improved though. The cat's meow could sound more authentic and the movements could be a bit quieter, rather than fairly loud robotic sounds. Otherwise, this is a very cute kittie, and one that your child is sure to enjoy.
