[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure if an OLED for a home setting was worth the cost but was pleasantly surprised with how many shows are putting in the effort to stream 4k/UHD and this TV really brings it out.
I absolutely love my LG C2 Evo. I wouldn't even consider buying anything but LG oled. I have been buying LG oleds since 2016 starting with the c6 then I bought a C7,C9,CX and 2 C2's all 65 inch . The TV's keep getting better and better. I hope to someday get a G Series. And the best part of all...fantastic customer service!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The most beautiful display I've ever seen! OLED makes all the colors pop in films and tv. For gaming the picture quality is crisp and detailed. I can never go back to a non OLED screen.
I replaced my fifteen year old wide screen TV with the LG TV and the difference is great. Easy to access WiFi and switch between streaming and antenna based stations. The quality and picture color/detail is outstanding.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The OLEDC2 is absolutely breathtaking for watching shows and playing games. I am very glad I got this television. The contrast and brightness is incredible evern during the day, and the customization options are excellent. The side-by-side and picture-in-picture leave a little to be desired as someone who would like to game along with my wife or watch a show while gaming, but it's not enough to knock off a star.
Excellent picture that lessens the reflections on most screens of lights and the background behind the TV viewer. The sound is good, but for this octogenarian owner, her Bose sound bar and hearing aids were still necessary. While purchasing, I forgot to ask if it allowed a DVD player, and after receiving the set, in talking with two LG technicians was told 'no,' and that an adapter was firmly not recommended. Turns out, when the TV was set up by a friend, the Bose connection also allowed the DVD machine and its old remote to work just fine. Happy buyer, except, of course, I would have appreciated a little lower price than the $902. P.S. I couldn't attach a photo.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the 48” set. The picture quality is amazing. My home theater setting is not optimal, with a lot of ambient side and back light. Despite all that, the OLED picture is gorgeous. I finally get true blacks. I'm 100% satisfied with the picture. My only gripe is that the Smart TV wants to control the entertainment system, not concede to the home theater receiver. In general, I just don't like smart TVs. Power outages and LG system upgrades often require a resetting - to get me back to where I was. I stream lots of HD content from my computer, and previously, had spotty performance. The LG connectivity is terrific. Simple to set up! If there were a “monitor-only” mode, I would give 5 stars.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not very happy got it in May already had it in the shop because all video HDMI ports quit. Now I have another work order in because HDMI cec isn't working at all won't pass sound or recognize devices hooked or control power to device when turning off TV or devices vice versa. Quality of picture is awesome and I have had great TVs from LG in the past this TV may be a one off
Im rating this a two star only because my experience has not finished. I purchased this TV from Conn's, who is going out of business. We got the tv home only to find that the screen was faulty. When there is a solid color such as yellow or red on the screen there is a big blotch in the middle of the screen. Unfortunately Conns will not take the tv back as "all sales are final" Contacted LG. Still waiting to speak with their expert to see what can be done.
I've encountered quite a frustrating situation with LG and Asurion. This marks the second time within a year that my second LG OLED TV has developed a burned screen, even with LG Premium care extended warranty in place. Unfortunately, Asurion has been reluctant to repair or replace it. Disappointed and unlikely to choose LG OLED again. #CustomerFeedback #LG #Asurion
