My husband put this bookcase together in about 30 minutes. It looks terrific in our boys room and matches the other maple furniture beautifully. It's gives a lot of storage in a compact area and helps create a great looking room.
Easy assembly and looks wonderful!
We bought this to match other KidKraft furniture our daughter has. The assembly was very easy, bookcase looks very nice and is sturdy. Our only problem was that a few of the plastic pieces that hold up the shelves broke and we had to replace with metal ones from the hardware store.
Even though this book case is particleboard (what did you expect for the price), we've had it for 4+ years and it is still in "like new" condition. Even with having it bolted to the wall to prevent tipping.
I got this for my kids room for dvd's and it holds a lot of them and works out great for a book shelf as well. I got books on the top dvd's on the bottom 2 shelfs. I feel like it was a little spendy but nice.
I purchased this product thinking it was going to be a somewhat solid peice of furniture. Once we received it, it is made up of particle board and cheap parts. The "natural wood" is paint. I would not recommend this product to anyone If I knew it was going to be so bad I would have only paid $25 for the product. Main point - don't waste your money!
I found out the bookcase was made out of fake wood and was also damaged upon opening. I'm done!!
