I purchased this a year ago, to place in the little office area I was putting together for my son in our family room. Pros: Looks nice but... Cons: There is a lot of fiber-board type material in this bookshelf. It's on the shelves (except the facing strip), on both side panels and the entire back panel is all that fiber-board. I thought this was a little pricy for a childs bookshelf, considering I only paid $20 more for the entire Kidkraft Avalon Table and 2 chairs set. The table set was well worth the price, it's heavy and sturdy + it was a snap to put together. Overall, I like the look but I am unhappy with the quality and price. But... if you have the $$$ to spend, and don't care that it's not solid wood, then go for it.
Shelf was pretty easy to put together. It is exactly as shown in the picture, can't fit a whole lot in it, but serves its purpose. Wood is sturdy and has a very nice appearance and least for the WHITE....
I was amazed on how easy it was to put this bookshelf together. It took only 10-15 min and I took my time. Strong, sturdy and light, it weights only 40 lbs. I highly recomend it.
I purchased this for my daughters room and it is the perfect size. It fits all of her books and the shelves are nice and sturdy (so far). Others we've tried in the past fall apart and then it makes more of a mess than organization. This one seems to be just right! We are very pleased with it!
This book shelf is not too tall and not very deep but does the job in terms of keeping all my toddlers books organized. One of the parts arrived broken but it was easy to order the part online and it was shipped very quickly.
The bookcase was a little smaller than I thought, but not by much. We didn't want a big bookcase with our little guy right now anyway. Assembled fast, 15 minutes probably. Sturdy. Looks like it will likely stand the test of time with our little boy. Also nicely matches the Avalon table and chairs from Walmart. We are happy with both orders.
This bookcase met my expectations. It is a little pricey, but it is pretty solid. Some of the pieces were not perfect (there was on piece in particular that didn't line up right)...but overall I am happy.
Very easy to assemble and it looks great in my two yr old son's room. The perfect height for him to be able to reach things from the shelves. Great price, also!
The bookshelf looks really nice in my little boy's room. The honey color blends well with the other furninture. However, I feel that is is a little pricey for its size but it seems like it's a good quality shelf.
This bookshelf is perfect for my daughter's room. It has space for so many books, even the tallest ones. Assembly was not perfect at all, though. The instructions were very easy to follow, but some of the pre-drilled holes did not line up properly. It took over an hour to put this together. The only other complaint I have is the smell. We purchased the white bookcase, and it took several days for the overwhelming paint smell to diminish.
