I bought this toybox two months ago for my 3 1/2 year old son. He loves it and uses it a great deal. He loves to put all of his toys in it. I love the fact it has side pockets for books since he has his Thomas & Friends book collection too. Overall, a great product.
My boys loved this!!! My oldest son seen a picture of this toy box before Christmas and put it on top of his Santa list. So he was beside himself when Santa left it in his room! I am a little disappointed that the front is not all one piece, the Thomas, Percy, James, and Thomas' buffers are all separate pieces that have to be screwed into place. I am a little concerned about them getting broke off. I also didn't realize that in order to play with the tracks the lid has to be totally flipped over, a little hard for the smaller Thomas fans. Other than that I though it was terrific. The material on the inside stretched so tight that the little toys can't fall out. My boys are thrilled with it and so am I! I would recommend it to anyone that has a Thomas fan in their home!
Pretty easy to put together, good size, bright colors. Very Happy with my purchase and the ship to store purchase.
My 2-year-old son LOVES this toy box!! If you want to use the lid with the train side up, it does not latch. It will stay on as long as the child does not pull it off. It held everything that I had in 2 seperate toy boxes. I highly recommend it, even if 3 sides are made of fabric.
I new my boys would love this toy box from the picture online. My oldest is a huge Thomas fan and absolutly fell in love with the box. It holds a great deal of toys and the track on the underside of the lid is wonderful for play. I thought the lid would be interchangeable with the track on the underside, but it does not lock in place turned upside down. Because of the age of my children, I took the top off so they could use the track and have better access to the toy box. When they get older and are able to lift the top on they own it will be wonderful.
I bought this toybox for my son's 2nd birthday and love it! The moment we brought it into the room he jumpped in it and wouldn't get out. It now sits in his Thomas themed room and goes perfectly. I thought the sides might cause a problem since they were fabric but so far so good and the lid is easy even for my little guy to get on and off. Love this!!
this toybox held alot more toys than I thought it would! The only thing we didnt realize when purchasing is the bottom is also just fabric. only the front and back is hard plastic. overall we're very satisfied w/ the product holds most of our sons toys and he really likes the train track in the cover!
The thing I was disappointed about with the toy box is the lid. It just sets on the top. It does not snap in anywhere and the picture makes it look like you have the train track as the top of the toy box but really you have to turn it over and it just sets on top. Does not snap or attach anywhere. My daughter and son-in-law feel the same way I do. Was disappointed in the product and wished we would have looked at one before buying online.
It is very cute but the lid does not fit on the toybox, it is warped. you can't flip it over and play with trains on top because it is not level. The lid doesn't stay on well and the bottom is fabric. Not what i would expect from the price of this toy chest.
The box isn't solid, it has a cloth panel which is the sides and the bottom of the toy box, The front and back panels are solid pastic and so is the lid. It has 4 bars which holds the front panel to the back panel and the cloth hooks from the top of one bar and goes under the box the the otherside with allows small toys to fall out from the sides and bottom. This is only go for storing larger toy and stuffed animals.
