[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried numerous other chain saw sharpeners but I always come back to my Dremel. Fast, simple and gets the job done. A quick touchup when I stop for fuel and chain oil keeps the saw sharp and cutting from morning till night. Love the Dremel Chainsaw sharpening stones!!
I have 7 1/2 acres of timber that unfortunately was in the middle of a fire. Tons of trees to cut down. A sharp saw is a must and my Dremel is the only way to keep my chain sharp and cutting at it's best. Haven't found a better tool for the job!

I bought the 3/16" model 454, which is a slightly different diameter, to sharpen an 18" chainsaw standard chain. The stone diameter was significantly reduced when I finished, to the extent that it is unusable for another sharpening because it is now a smaller diameter. I will look for a stone with a carbide surface.
