[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these, but do not buy a lot because the seem to wear out quickly. (?) I may be using them on Material inappropriate for them... I'd love to see these come in MORE GRITS, so we can Use them in more ways. Like, Brush Finishing Metal! Also, maybe a little LARGER, OOOOO YEAH. We used these to smooth out areas on Leather hard Pots + Bone Dry ware, pre-kiln. I remember having a lot of fun with them. Hint, Use in a Fan so you can keep dust away from you.
I have used dremel stones an sanding it to port an polished heads an intake on my hot rod Pluse restored an old tricycle for my grand daughter plan on using them to do tanka trucks for my grandsons! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
These little buffs are perfect for pre-polishing my silver, before I give it the final polish with the jewelers rouge. Normally I would spend a lot of time using various sandpaper grits to get a smooth finish. The buffs had quickly replaced that time-consuming task. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Model number 511E shares two different grit sizes: the 180 grit (brownish) should be classed as ‘course', not ‘very fine', and the 280 grit (greyish) should be classed as ‘medium', not ‘Extra Fine'. The separate 512E is the 320 grit (purplish), which is correctly classed as ‘Fine'. Hope that's helpful.
Great! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a must to do very a very good job on surface restoration.
I ordered 5 of these, because they will wear down removing the old stuff and glue that still remains. No need to press hard with the Dremel when using, I only used 4. Arrived one day early Thanks Walmart another great job
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been restoring and customizing motorcycles and these come in very handy on smaller items.
took rust off car bumpers worked great
Wears down too quickly, not practical for a big project at this price.
