Brush it for Better Results!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great brush if used the right way.. Use an easy/light hand to get the best results. Definitely should practice a little to get the feel for how much pressure to use before attempting a project. I found that a slow speed was best if you want to polish silver or sand a wood carving. The wires seem to stay pretty much in place if useing a light hand. Do not use heavy pressure for best results. The brush diameter (3/4 ") is a good size for most projects. Will remove rust without a problem, polish silver to a shine, and is a super sander for wood carvings (light hand seems to be the key) I found it best for light cleaning and detailing final projects. I didnt find much wear on the wires after 5 min of polishing a silver spoon and removing the fuzzy wood from the 2nd and 3rd section of the tree carving. Will make sure to have at least one in my box at all times...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like using the attachments that are made for the Dremel. And these steel brushes are pretty good. My only use so far for them was cleaning up some rust off of the deck grill legs just to pretty it up a little but it did well. It wasn't a lot of rust but it did remove what was there. I was thinking they wouldn't hold up on the grill but it did. I hope they last a while because I keep forgetting my tools out on the deck and they rust often....lol...but at least have the Dremel and these brushes to clean things up.

If you want quality, but real Dremel products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used these to clean up some lightly rusted tools I had been neglecting. I was running them at a lower speed so as to not take off too much material or mess up the finish on the tools. They took all the surface rust off and seemed to hold their condition compared to cheap knock offs that don't last 5 minutes. Trust me, I've bought the HF stuff and it's junk. These are so much better material and quality.

The Dremel 530-02 Brushes-A Bit Above The Rest

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this old, badly tarnished coffee cream and sugar serving set that I found at a garage sale for over a year now. I originally purchased it to use it to practice learning to polish with my Dremel, but I never got around to it until now. After doing a little research about polishing with a Dremel, I decided these Dremel 3/4" Stainless Steel Brushes would be a good starting point. So I loaded one of the brushes into my Dremel 8260 smart wireless rotary tool, set it to 5,000 RPM as recommended in the Dremel app, and began polishing the sugar dish. I have to say that I was surprised at how effortlessly this brush removed the tarnish from this piece. I was more than impressed with the results, especially for my first attempt at polishing with a Dremel.

3/4 In. Stainless Steel Brushes won't fall apart!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These stainless steel brushes are far more superior than any other brushes I've used. I have a few generic brushes that I've used to clean PVC fittings, steel surfaces, porous surfaces and blades for different tools that I use. The generic ones tend to loose their fibers after just a few jobs but the Dremel Brushes, just keep on going time after time! They've stood up to far more tougher jobs than I ever thought possible and I'm very impressed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a new hobby, wood carving. The pictures sho amazing things you can supposedly do with an extremely sharp knife. I'm not that good yet! The wizard I was carving has a long flowing beard with lots of texture. The Dremel 530-02 3/4 In. Stainless Steel Brushes were the perfect solution! I was able to use the brush, with a light touch to convert my sloppy knife cuts to something resembling a flowing beard. That took me five minutes after trying to get the feet with a knife for more than an hour. I also didn't spill blood using the brush. I normally use these for cleaning up small metal items, the now have a permanent home on my carving bench.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these as well as the carbon steel brushes and saw they were recommended for removing rust, and what better test than my project truck. The carbon steel brushes worked decent, but the stainless did a far superior job! The photos speak for themselves in the speed in which these quickly cleared down to bare metal. I will say for something as large as a truck, these may not be the ideal tool for the job just due to the size. However, if you have something smaller, these will certainly do the job quickly and efficiently.

Glass Doorknob

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was fixing some repurposed hardware for a local boutique. And one of the doorknobs had a hardened goop on the brass trim. I used a Dremel 530 ¾” Stainless Steel brush to clean the brass. I first attempted to wipe the mess off using a rag and general-purpose clearer. The harden substance did not come off. Then I took one of the Stainless-Steel brushes and attached it to the Dremel Flex shaft. I used a Dremel 4000 for power. I adjusted the speed I between 10K and 15K RPM and started cleaning the piece. The brush removed the substance effortlessly. It was able to clean in all of the curves and edges of the handle. Since the brush was Stainless-Steel it did not leave any carbon deposit on the brass. It removed the goop and left a nice clean shine,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Today I finally got around to the leg on my work table weird line of rust. The 530-02 wire wheel made very short work of it. It's gone. Before I used the stainless steel wire wheel to get the paint from the head of screws and it make it so much easier to remove the screws. Thank you Dremel for the opportunity. They are a must have for rust and and restoration of almost anything with rust or pain on it. Great bit to have. Go get a few you will NOT be disappointed.

Make the first lesson: using your tools correctly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dremel 3/4 inch stainless steel brush. It seams that most the better Dremel kits that come with accessories usually have this little brush included. I've almost never had a situation to correctly use one but have always tried to use it on diffrent things. My experience- from using it incorrectly - always had the same results ending in shrapnel throughout the room and a torn up bit. So I thought I'd try something different this time: learn what it's used for, and correctly apply. Turns out one of its uses is cleaning and polishing aluminum. I don't have an amass of aluminum by any means, but my girlfriend has 3 little aluminum Figurines that I've watched her unsuccessfully clean- due to tiny areas virtually impossible to reach. So, being the hero - good guy boyfriend, I figured I'd help her out. I purchased some aluminum cleaner at a local hardware store, let the figurines soak for about an hour and went to work with the Dremel and stainless steel brushes. —let me add right here that there is basically no task you'll attempt with a power tool that safety glasses are not a good idea- I know the cleaning solution was a big help, but combined with the brush, the results were amazing. The recommended RPM for the brush is 15,000- but I found that too fast and 12000 to be plenty for my task. Thinking of another solution, I suppose a steel scrub brush might have worked although I usually end up stabbing my fingers with the bristles. So overall, for what its intended for - yea, I'd recommend it- it got the job done pretty fast and without drawing blood.
