I use them in my running shoes that have a firmer eva foam. They help with adding a little softness and rebound to the landing. They are a soft foam material I don't see how they could cut the upper of a shoe. Good lifespan over 500 miles on my second pair.
I just bought my second pair. I've been using my 1st pair on and off for 2 years, whenever my heel spur flares up, or when I exercise and want extra support in my sneakers. I've even used 'em successfully in a dress shoe that had little cushioning. The 1st pair is still in fair condition. I only bought the second pair to make it easier for me, not to have to take 'em in and out so often. They've totally restored my normal shoe wearing, despite my heel spur. Thank you for a terrific product!
First of all, let me say that I am a healthy, active, 68-year-old physician and a Full Professor at one of the top medical schools in the country. About 8 months ago, I developed severe plantar fasciitis. I did all the machinations that were recommended (ie, rolling a ball along the bottom of my foot, icing the foot) and none worked. At issue was whether or not to see an orthopedist and obtain custom-made orthotics, and I even went so far as to make an appointment with one; however, while awaiting the appointment, I bought a pair of inexpensive Dr. Scholl's P.R.O. Pain Relief Orthotics. I must admit that I had no great expectations, but within a month or so, I was completely pain free and have remained so. I have them in my regular shoes, sneakers, and even the shoes I wear in the lab. Thank you so very much for making a great product. I sing your (and its) praises on a daily basis!!! Just thought you'd like to know.
They fit great, There very comfortable but most of all they WORK! I have NOT had any more heel pain since I started walking with them in my shoe.Thank You!
I like to hike/walk about 6 miles a day. With that activity comes PF pain. Walking barefoot was impossible but when my heels hurt even while wearing my cushioned sneakers, I had to do something. I had purchased these a while ago and decided to finally use them (I know - I split an infinitive). It was a miracle - no pain when walking in any of my shoes (flats, sneakers, boots, etc.). Dr. Scholls recently had a sale so I bought 8 more packages of these so that I will never run out. Could not be happier with my results.
These heel orthotics make all the difference in the world!! I’ve had heel pain for the past few months. My Dr says it’s from walking on wood floors without shoes on & wearing flat shoes without support, so I started wearing slippers about a month ago in the house. I was still having some pain, but not as bad. I put these inside my slippers, and it felt SO good! It feels like my foot just sinks into them & they’re molded to my foot. It’s made such a big difference in my comfort! I also put them in a pair of uncomfortable shoes that I wore to Disney to walk around in. They definitely helped!! They take the pressure off your heel, and help ease the impact on your foot while you walk. I highly recommend them! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Just the right cushion for walking with Plantar fascitis. Walking is painfree.
Helps my heel where it doesn't when i work a lot but the arch lift feels weird and it doesn't stay in place good in your shoe.
New Heel and Arch insoles are not nearly as good as old Heel pain insoles. Old Heel pain insoles are very good for someone who suffers with plantar fasciitis.
I am not feeling any better using it, still having the same pain even I am using it daily
