I purchased this bookcase for my daughters room. Her current furniture is a cream finish and this bookcase looks like it was part of the set. It was on backorder when I placed the order, and while we had to wait about 1 month, it was certainly worth it. I see from another review they received one that had bad parts. Ours was perfect. For $200 I am VERY pleased with this purchase!!!!!!!
This bookshelf is a great value for the money. It's sturdy, attractive and easy to put together. It also comes with a fastener to tether it to a wall for safety. I highly recommend it!
The Baby Mod - Roxanne Bookcase, Antique White is a solidly built, wood constructed piece of furniture for children or adult rooms. The safety strap on back helps retain it's position without falling over. Plan on 1 -2 hours of assembly time and years of enjoyment.
I was looking for a bookcase for my 2 year olds room that could hold books, movies, and toys. I also wanted a bookcase that would grow with her, and a lot of the other 'kids' bookcases were just too small. This bookcase is awesome, it is a generous size and very versatile. Two of the shelves are stationary, but the other 2 are adjustable so I can fit the larger books she has on it. It also an off-white (cream) color, which matches her convertible crib set / dresser that I purchased a few years ago from a different department store. (Her other furniture was also called 'antique white' so I took a chance it would match and it does perfectly.) It comes with the safety strap, so we were able to secure it to the wall and I can be confident it won't fall over (you never know with kids!). I would recommend this shelf to anyone. My husband assembled it an about an hour, with no complaints regarding the instructions. It is a bit pricey, but it doesn't look like a cheaply assembled bookcase like you might get with one of a lower price. I'm so glad I picked this one up. I know my daughter will have it for many years to come.
We never had the chance to enjoy this product because it arrived broken. Wish I'd listened to the other reviews that complained of this. We used ship-to-store, and it still ended up w/ a shattered leg and side piece. That's a major pain when you are trying to put together a nursery. We eventually gave up and requested a refund because the process of ordering and waiting and picking up again was not worth it.
Opened the package, several panels are cracked, very poorly constructed, gaps all over. Returned it the next day. Don't waste your time and money on this one.
