After reading many many reviews on breast pumps I opted for the lansinoh affinity double pro based on the price. I really didn't want to splurge on a pump given the fact that my supply was depleting but I needed one for when I went back to work. The price was great and the quality so far is great! Many of the reviews I read complained that it was too loud. It can be a little noisy but if you put something underneath it muffles the vibratin of the motor. I love the fact that it has different settings for the speed and suction which helps a lot for comfort (soreness) and convenience ( 20 minute lunch break!). I'm really glad I made this purchase, after using it for a week on a regular bases I started to notice an increase in my milk production and that makes for one happy momma!!
the lansinoh pump is so great! i love the let down phase and how it automatically switches over.. the only thing is it has so many parts to wash at the end
Buying this pump proved that you don't have to spend an arm and leg to get quality. I would definitely recommend this product to any breastfeeding mom.
Ladies have no fear I know the first two weeks are pretty tough but in the end it's worth it and this brand lansinoh helps u all the way even helped me to produce more great breast pump
don't use it alot - just for occasions when I have to be away from my baby, but a great product; used a friend's prior to buying my own just to make sure I liked it
This pump is perfect for my needs because I only need to pump once or twice a week so I didn't want anything very expensive. I love that you can pump one or both sides and also you can control the speed and strength of the pump. Very easy to use and clean. The tote has plenty of space for the pump, milk storage bags and a very small cooler and ice pack to store the pumped milk. Great for taking with you.
I love this pump because it was affordable and works well. I purchased this pump because I needed something to pump exclusively. This pump works very well the only downfall is it's very noisy (sounds like a quacking duck).
The pump is excellent. I had a Medela that broke within the first two weeks of purchase due to milk getting into the tubing. This pump does not have that issue. I would give the pump five stars; however, it does not come with the bag pictured. It does not come with a bag at all. Overall, I would buy this pump 20X over any Medela.
I bought this pump with hesitation because it was cheaper than the others so I wasn't sure if that correlated to the quality. I was really pleased with it until about the 5th month when the motor just stopped working in the middle of a pumping session. I know some pump companies will typically ship one to you overnight but when I called they were out of inventory. That made me think this happens pretty regularly which is exactly what happened. I had to go out of my way to buy another one. When I bought the 'same' version at walmart the product looked like it was from the 1980's. But I had to buy it. I couldn't go without pumping. I didn't just use it for the day, I used it ONCE and the second one broke (the motor). I called the company and demanded that they ship one to me overnight and with a little reluctance on their part, they agreed. The other factor in this is that they will reimburse you with the original receipt. If they would familiarize themselves with new insurance guidelines, many insurance companies require the original receipt to reimburse the purchase from the get go. I can't possibly send my original receipt to 2 different locations.
I bought this pump yesterday and it doesn't have sucking power at all. I was fully engorged and ready to pump and after 45 minutes only half an ounce! I made sure all the parts were connected properly and that it had been properly plugged in etc. The pump appears to be totally fine but it just isn't effective at all. 45 min and half an ounce? seriously?! So I plugged up my cheapo $70 pump (that i also bought at walmart its the fst years) and i pumped 5 more ounces. so it definately wasn't anything I did. This piece of you know what just doesn't work. And for ALmost $130 it should. I called lasinoh laboratories and explained the issue. She said if i only used one side to pump at a time it would work better.,..OK I bought a DOUBLE pump so I could effectively pump both breasts at once thus being faster and saving time. One breast at a time? I ain't got time for that. So, back it goes to the manufacturer. If you buy this, It will not work. SO i would keep your reciept or you'll be out $115- $130. Going to by a medela.
