Does a wonderful job for me.
I don't know if I'm just inept, but I can't get this to work properly. If I fill the water chamber as directed, the envelopes get wet on the top inch or so on the front. It doesn't seem to wet just the glue on the flap. If I put less water in the chamber, it won't seal at all. I'm at a loss.
It is faster to use a bottle type moistener. The envelopes did not slide through easily, got stuck on the way out, and tore. It did not save any time at all. Boxed it up to return to the store before the job of sealing 3700 envelopes was complete. Finished by using a bottle moistener which was much faster and easier.
This device was very messy sealing envelopes. Did not work well with thick envelopes.
