This is my first otterbox of any kind and so far so good. Getting the box opened was a challenge and the fit very tight but I looked at that being a good "thing". Other than cleaning the finger prints off the screen guard I have had no problems with it. The only con is the colors choices. :)
I buy Otterbox for any phone or tablet I purchase because they protect my device the best. However, I was really disappointed when looking to purchase an Otterbox for the new tablet I was purchasing for my mother. Otterbox only has a couple color options as the case for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1". In general, Otterbox could stand to make more colors, and also some cases with pretty designs.
I recently purchased a tablet for my job and needed something that would protect the screen and tablet itself so I can store it in my bag without worry. The OtterBox was a perfect fit. Not only does it protect my tablet completely while stored, but the detachable screen protector has a built-in stand so I can set my tablet up to watch videos with ease while spending down-time in the hotel. I think it's the best protection for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 on the market. You definitely get what you pay for with OtterBox.
Got this product for a recent Samsung Table tI Purchased. I have NOT as yet used it, But, IF it is as good and offers the same or better protection as the one I have for my Samsung Phone I will be very happy ... Like the double protection of both hard case with outer rubber case for shock protection. Wish they offered a case with this type of protection with an attached or integrated external keyboard like some of the other covers that don't offer as much protection.
Gave this as a gift on a Galaxy Tablet for a friend who has MS. Wanted her to feel like she could use her tablet and not worry when the small drops happen and they will. She was extremely happy to feel like it would care for her tablet like it does for her phone. Thanks again for making a good product.
I work in a demanding environment from the office to the shop floor to out in a truck. I love my otter it has saved my Tab 4 several times. Well worth the money to protect my investment. The only thing I marked it down for is a couple small design changes I would like to see. When using it I like having the clip on shield on the back for added protection. The corner of the shield covers the sleep button and ear phone jack. That is the only negative observation I have.
I have a note 10.1 old model, note 8, note3, tab 4 10.1. You WASTE you money on amy other case! I am a OTR truck driver and my note 10.1 is my gps and everything. Took the stand that snaps on and used the stick on balls form ram mounts and made mount that the tablet will snap in and have the BEST mounting system. Did same in pickup for the tab 4 10.1.Got two extra of the holsters for note 3 and did the same for both semi and pickup. All I have to do is unsnap units to remove or put in!
We recently purchased an Otter Box for a 10.1" Samsung tablet, we found it easy to order and reasonably priced, and in addition to this, our package arrived surprisingly quickly. The product it's self was manufactured to a very high quality with easy to understand installation instructions. The followup customer service was second to none and I would recommend this Otter Box product to anyone.
I order two cases,one for my wife and son.The one that my son had got had a scratch on the screen cover.Being that it had never been used.I had to jump through hoops sending pics and etc.After it was all said and done they replaced it and all lived happily ever after.Product fits to a T and is very nice looking.Making a long story short some what frustrated in the beginning but wroth the wait i guess.You get what you pay for.
This protective cover is better than most I've used. It has a sturdy design and great to protect the tablet against children. However is a poor design. The power and portions of the volume buttons are covered by the front cover when it is snapped on the back. The side bevels are much larger that that of the iPad equivalents. It just appeared that this tablet cover was not well tested or looked at.
