I have had other shredders but this was the best. Liked it so well that when it just stopped I went to see if Walmart would take it back and give me another. Figured I had a lemon. They could not help me so I got another. It works as well. Strong. But I cannot find out on your website how to get my money back for the first one.
Was not sure what kind of shredder I wanted when I decided it was time to replace the one I had. One of the sales persons in store explained which one would suit me for what I needed it for. She was very knowledgeable and helped me a lot. Could not be more pleased.
Have used Fellowes shredders for about the past 12-15 years. Been wanting to replace the old one with a cross-cut for security reasons. Only used the new one for a few days, but am well satisfied with the operation of the shredder. Sure wish we could have more USA made products.
We were looking for a shredder that would not make the paper into spaghetti but does the complete shred into tiny pieces. We did not want a big machine but not a small one either. We found it in this product! It fits nicely under the desk and boy does it shred. Thank you
There are three Fellowes Shredders were I work and they have performed jam free for the three years I have been employed there. This shredder has a small footprint but has handled everything I've put in. It is much quieter than my previous Techko shredder. I expect to have this machine for many years.
Bought my shredder about 2 months ago, it worked great except ever so often it would slip off the plastic part that hangs out in the basket to press the switch so I'd have to move it back on. So decided to call up the Company one day as I was going to fix it myself and the Lady was so nice and knowledgeable. She told me they'd send me a new shredder and I was so surprised. So it arrived today with an improved basket and I am very happy with it. I have the3 old one packed up already after cleaning it good. and will have it back to them ASAP. Great Company and produces. Hard to find that in the world today. Thank you Fellowes! Robwolfheart
I have had this shredder for a little over a week. It has jammed on me once already, however I am hopeful. It appears to be strong and heavyweight and I like the design. I suppose time will tell about its longevity. It is a lot better than the previous model from Fellowes I had purchased a couple of years back. So Far, So Good...... Jonny
While walking the down supermarket aisle. I didn't find myself in need of a paper shredder. But reading the content of the box and checking my iphone for product review, there were a lot of great things raved about this product. So, I purchased one, brought it back, set-up was super easy, plug and chug. Less than a minutes, I'm shredding paper. Please read instructions before starting, as the manual says, 6 paper per shredding, medium usage for my household and perfect!
Replaced previous home shredder with Fellowes W-6C. For the price paid I hope that it will continue to work for awhile. Noticed in the manual that it suggests oiling the cutter blades, this is something that I did not do with my previous shredder. It seems to go through single sheet shredding very quickly. Could not get it to operate and then found that the cutter was not sitting completely on the catch bin - good safety feature. When emptying bin, bits of paper in the cutter tend to fall onto the floor when it is off the bin.
Not sure I am going to like it, the noise levels are high and it seems to struggle to shred the 6 sheets it claims to do. It did mention shredding credit cards and staples in the scanty instruction manual. Over all it seems to be adequate, but not great. Time will tell.
