We bought this for our daughter who will be 2 in a few months and is tall for her age. It fits her perfectly and even with her being a messy toddler it is very easy to clean. The seat is light and very easy to unbuckle the straps and reattach to other chairs so we can take it with us to a restaurant or another family's home. She loves sitting in her new booster seat and I love that there is no seat cover to clean! Very happy with this purchase and using site-to-store shipping to pick it up.
I purchased this booster seat for my first child and knew I had to get a second one for his sibling. It fits perfectly in our kitchen table chairs, and fastens securely underneath and around the chair back (easily adjustable). The removable and adjustable back support makes it ideal for a growing child and easy cleaning. The waist buckle always holds my dancing children safely in their seats but allows them to move freely. It's a great height for eating and table crafts. Absolutely my favorite booster seat. I would highly recommend this product.
My two year old granddaughter is too short to sit on a regular chair, so she has to kneel on her knees or stand up on the chair. (She hates her high chair.) So, since I wanted her to be able to sit at the table with us for Thanksgiving, I ordered this booster seat. She felt pretty special being able to "sit" at the table like the rest of the grown-ups.
This seat is great. It fits well on multiple chairs we use, and secures well. My son, who is almost 2, actually enjoys using this seat. He constantly wants to sit at the table to color and eat every meal in it. It is wide enough for him to be comfortable. Great buy!
I work as a nanny so come in contact with a lot of children's products. I have been using this booster for a little boy starting at his 2nd birthday, 6 months ago. It is securely fastened to a dining room chair and has not shifted in place for all of these past 6 months. There is a strap that comes up between the legs and connects to the side straps. This fits correctly around the waist. Some seats have the straps that end up under the arms but this one goes where the straps should go to keep a child from sliding/climbing out. The backrest piece has two positions. Right now we are using the one closer to the end, keeping him closer to the table. Being able to reposition the backrest will insure that he is able to use this seat for a long time. There is no fabric on this seat so you just wipe up any spills with a wet cloth. I liked it so much that I have just purchased the same one for my granddaughter to use as she transitions out of the high chair. Just an FYI there is not a tray for this seat. You are using it to get the child up a bit higher to actually eat at the table.
Got this booster chair and am very pleased with it. It seems to be very stable and really like the 2 straps that attach it to the larger chair. My 2 year old niece thought it was great and did not have any problems, it also helped that the back was adjustable.
My 16 month loves her new booster seat. She feels like a big girl sitting at the table with us for meals now. It's very sturdy and easy to strap on to the chair and easy to clean. Stays in place very well. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a child that feels like they are too big for their high chair and wants to sit at the table with everyone else. I am very happy with it and so is my daughter. Until I received this booster seat she was wanting to sit on our lap and eat at the table and it made it hard for us to eat with her on our lap but now that she has her booster seat, she eats in her own chair and enjoys it very much.
My daughter is about 34" tall and this booster puts her at a good height at our table. She is high enough to easily reach her plate and cup however she is still low enough to put her face in her food which I don't enjoy. We have carved oak chairs and I was afraid the booster wouldn't fit but there are cutouts on the back-sides so it fits perfectly. The straps are all connected to the removable back piece which makes it a little less stable but it still works. My girl is a squirmer and managed to wiggle the strap that goes between their legs out of the hole. The back piece is easily removed for cleaning as well as for those times you don't need the straps or the back support. It has plenty of room for growth and is very sturdy overall.
Great so far. So much easier to clean than the nooks and crannies of a high chair and my little girl loves sitting at the table with mommy and daddy. She even seems to try and mind her table manners better now that's she's out of a high chair and gets to use her "big girl" chair.
I was disappointed with the height of the seat. The back support doesn't really work if your baby is big. Say 25lbs or so. If you have a big boy or girl, go with something else.
