Get a car seat that lasts. The Cosco High Back Booster Car Seat takes your child through two different stages. It starts as a LATCH equipped, forward-facing harnessed car seat with a five-point harness that easily adjusts from the front. When your child is ready, remove the harness and the seat can be used in belt-positioning mode up to 80 pounds. In both modes, it features a removable cup holder that's there when you need it and easy to toss in the trunk when you don't.

My husband and I bought this seat for our 18 month old daughter. She absolutely loves being able to sit forward in the car. My husband and I love the 5-point harness, the safety ratings, the design, and the price. Most of the character (i.e. Dora or Disney Princess) seats that we found were double the price. I personally wanted to avoid the route of any characters, because she doesn't have a "favorite" yet and you never know if the child will out grow the character before the seat. The bright colors and the cheerful design are something I know will continue to be perfect until it is time to get a backless booster!
I bought this back when my daughter was 6 months old she is now 4. I wasn't sure if I, she, would like it. She LOVES it and she is at the buster stage with it. I haven't had any problems with it besides that I have lost the cup holder. :-( I have notice that many have had problems with it after the first washing. What I learned is ALWAYS wash ANYTHING dealing with children in cold water and shake it out before putting it into the dryer or if its a nice sunny day half dry and then hang it upside down out side. I have two of this car seat the pink polka dot posies and the black one. I wash both of them every other week and haven't had a problem. I hope this help many of you who have had a problem after washing.
When my granddaughter outgrew her infant seat, I bought this one after returning several rear facing seats. (All of those were either too big for my Toyota Corolla, or they tipped over when I turned a corner.) She loves this seat, and it stays firmly in place in my car. It's also very easy to adjust when necessary. I tried so hard to keep her facing the rear until she's two, but she's big for her age and it just didn't work. If you're having the same problem, you will love this car seat too!
Fast and easy shipping. Was what I expected.
When we purchased this carseat, i was skeptical because it was definitely not the fanciest option out there. I chose it because, to me, it looked the most comfortable for my children for long road trips, unlike the sit-up-straight Graco options. This carseat has proven to me to be a safe and reliable seat. My husband and 3 children were in a rollover accident on the interstate. Our SUV rolled 5 to 6 times crossing the median and landed in the left lane of oncoming traffic. The car was totaled. No one was hurt. Truly a miracle. Then, when we went to replace the carseats for insurance purposes, we went back to these high back boosters. they are simple, comfortable and reliable. There is no need to spend lots of money for a great product.
This product is cute, practical and affordable
I bought this car seat for my daughter to replace her first car seat. I love the color and it seems like she likes this car seat a lot, she calls it her "chair". Overall a good brand, good product.
Great seat, not too bulky and huge. My Little girl loves the pattern and it's easy to get her in and out.
I bought two of these for my twins when they were younger, about 16 months old. At that time, it was only recommended to be rear facing until 12 months so they faced forward. The seats worked wonderfully and they continued use as a booster after they hit about 40 pounds (age 4 and 4 1/2). The seats are easy to install and, while there isn't much padding, they seem comfortable as they never flopped forward when sleeping. Shortly after they were done using the booster option, I had another baby and used the their seats as spares in Daddy's car and one for the babysitter. They hit the expiration date when she was about 2 1/2 and I got rid of both. I had purchased one for our main car when she was around one and used it as a rear facing until she was two. About the time we turned the seat, we purchased a different seat for our main car and this one moved into Daddy's car. The seat has been fantastic but just recently I see a problem that did not happen with the twins. My daughter is tall and thin and I have noticed she is getting too tall to use the harness. Her shoulders are almost over the top notch but she only weights 32 pounds and is only 38" tall. She still has several months to go before she turns 4 and obviously several pounds to go before she is 40 pounds. I just noticed that it says they can use the harness system between 32" and 54". There is no way that is possible. I am now looking for a seat that will be a good backup but be able to hold her in a harness system for a taller kid (so until a higher weight). The crotch strap is also getting a little close to her (which seems to be a common problem as I have been seeing it even in very expensive car seats). A side note, I noticed a lot of complaints being about after it is washed. Before going further, you are actually NOT supposed to wash any of your car seat parts because it removes the flame retardants. That being said, I would be lying if I said I never washed my seat cover -- my daughter gets motion sick so it would be really gross if I didn't. The fabric has held together fine. Overall, for the price this seat is great. It isn't bulky, it is secure, simple, easy to install, and a great price point. Just be aware when purchasing it that you may out grow it even if you are technically within the specs. As for the cup holder --- it is terrible. It falls off and gets lost easily and takes up a lot of extra room. After the first seats I just threw the cup holder away and saved myself the headache. The seat was wide enough a cup could sit next to her.
No where for a child to rest their head on long trips
