We've only had the Air Purifier for 3 weeks, and are using it in an area with a lot of pet hair. It seems to be doing the job, but it will be hard to judge value until I change the filters the first time (~6 months) and see how it holds up. Many internet raters had issue with the initial smell, but we found that after only one day on high speed that new-appliance smell was completely gone. However, on high speed, it would be too noisy for constant home use; the medium speed is generally fine.
