Breath-O-Prene Headgear offers premium therapy and top of the line comfort for BiPAP and CPAP therapy. This new model has replaced the over-the-head straps with a four strap system above and below each ear. The ventilating holes are on the elbow, and Fisher Paykel has included a filter to reduce noise. The HC405's headgear attaches securely so that you can move around without disrupting the mask's fit.

Four Strap Headgear: The top headgear strap has been removed for a simpler, more open design. The headgear of the HC405 is latex free, as is all other headgear by Fisher & Paykel. Glider Strap Anti-Leak System: This strap is used to connect the headgear to the mask frame for stability, but it slides across the frame when the head is turned so that the pressure of the seal stays uniform regardless of sleep position. Out of Box Solution: All Fisher & Paykel masks come fully assembled and ready to wear so there is no fumbling or confusion. Bias Diffuser: The HC405 exhalation vent has to be redesigned and placed on the elbow of the swivel to help keep it from blowing onto a bedmate. It also uses a filter to help reduce noise. FlexiFit Cushion: Two sizes are included now instead of just one, to mold to a variety of nose and bridge shapes. The unique inner foam cushion provides a secure seal.
