These pants shrink alot. I tried these on my daughter who is 5 1/2 going to start school (K) and I ordered a size 7 put them on before I washed them too big put them on after washing and drying fit just right .She is taller for the average 5 yr old normally she wears a 6 but so glad I bought the 7. Bought a pair of george pant and the 6 fit her perfect . FYI I always buy bigger just in case that away you dont have to return it thats 1 less thing you have to buy next year PLEASE WRITE DETAILED REVIEWS WITH AGES, SIZES, ETC. IT HELPS WHEN OTHER ARE UNSURE CANT TRY THEM ON (some of the uniforms you cant buy at the store only online ) HOPE THIS HELPED YOU FOXYMOMOF4
Remember that Dickies has their own return policy. If a zipper breaks, they will replace the garment. It's worth it to pay a little extra over the cost of the Walmart brand.

Purchased Dickes for my 9 year old grandson and 4 year old grandaughter last September for school, was very pleased with wear and fit...maintained color after multiple wash...and I must say they look great on them...will only be purchasing Dickes for them again this year also my grand son loves them. and you cant beat the price ...
I love them n would recommend them.. The only problem is if they don't fit to exchange them is a mission at the store .
My daughter is very picky and was unhappy we did not get pants at one of those more expensive stores. After they came in the mail she loved them and the fit. Would definitely recommend for uniforms or for everyday wear. Wash and Dry without shrinkage.
These khakis are made of a nice material (true Dickie's style) & come out of the washer/dryer without many wrinkles. The color is true to the picture. As far as sizing, I ordered a size 14 based on the measurements on Dickie's website. Right out of the package they actually fit about half a size too big. However, I washed them with hot water & dried on hot and now they fit perfectly. Overall, I would definitely purchase a pair of these pants again.
My daughter wears a 12.5 in George school pants. I ordered a 14 in these and they didn't come close. Was a shame because they looked like great quality pants. Super cute. Looked durable.
I bought these pants for my granddaughter because she doesn't like skinny jeans. I didn't realize that they are uniform pants, like the girls wear to private school. They are very well made, but not suitable for us, so I'm returning them.
These pants are nice fitting but very difficult to get the right size they run small and short on the legs. Hope they don't shrink!
