Excellent Bather That Doesn't Take Up Much Space

I have both a traditional baby bathtub (the big, plastic kind with a sling inside it) and this one. We only used the traditional bathtub for about the first month of her life, then she quickly outgrew it (I had a 10lbs 9 oz baby). This was the original bather we chose to register for, but my mom found the traditional baby bathtub at a consignment sale for cheap and bought us that one as well. While the traditional bather worked well in the beginning, allowing me not to bend over a tub since I had a c section, this pillow bather is really the best option. Not only does it take up hardly any space, but my daughter is 7 months old and we're still using it. In other words, it grew with her, where as the traditional plastic bathtub simply didn't last. One word of caution, you must hang this up to dry after each use, otherwise it will mold. We are on our second one right now because we weren't so diligent about hanging it up immediately after each use. So far, we've had no issues with our second one now that we make sure to hang it up to dry.

Great bathtub accessory for a newborn

My 2 month old grandson loves this. It gives him the freedom to have most of his body in the water and enjoy his bath time. I also received my order very quickly I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a newborn, the price is very reasonable for the enjoyment it has given my grandson.

Waste of Money

I purchased this bath pad in February. I followed the directions, rinsed and drained the water, then hung it in a ventilated area to dry. By May I saw black spots start to form on the pad. My only assumption was mold was starting to form. I thought by running it through the washer with soap and bleach would help it but it did not. The pad is too thick for the water to completely drain. I believe it never was ever fully dry no matter how hard I tried. This product is too high maintenance and a waste of money. If you are looking for a pad to place in the kitchen sink for a small infant my suggestion would be the Munchkin Bath pad. It's simple, made of foam, drains far more superior and it's only $6.49.
