I thought this was going to be just another glue gun. But no, this thing has two settings: high and low. It also came with a pack of starter glue sticks. No instructions, but that's fine. Once you've seen one he gym, you've seen them all... Except for this one. The kick stand is a game changer. I didn't have to babysit the gun while I was making my project. This is excellent to deter a curious toddler. Grip is good, solid. No heat transfer to the hands. Casing has texture so that it doesn't slip out of your hands. Fast heat. Pros: hands free stand. Stands upright on its own. Cons: none. But I wish it came in pink.
I am a serious crafter. To the point I run an Etsy shop. And I typically run through glue guns. This one is the best glue gun I have ever used. I will use no other glue gun from this day forward. The stand is a big sturdy and stable one. I was even able to use the stand to assist in my crafting. A big plus, it is like having an extra finger to push something down. Other guns I have used in the past typically come with crappy stands, but not this one! The other guns tend to drip and get nasty stuff all over them catching anything in the wind, but not this one! The stand is so sturdy it prevents falling onto floors and sits upright and not at a tilt so it does not drip! Best glue gun ever! A must have for any serious crafter.
Received my Surebonder Full Size Standard Dual Temperature Stand-Up Glue Gun with Safety Fuse, 40 Watt and found immediate use as additional support for hangers carrying heavier loads. As shown, the stand feature works beautifully. It also works on cloth, plastic and wood; as well as making rugs nonskid, with a few dabs here and there.. It's great for applying decorations to almost any surface, including a quick stick to a wall for posters or other decorative items. This glue gun works as it's supposed to and has 2 settings, high and low depending on what material you're working on. Because of its stand-up design there's minimal drip. All things considered, it a great all-purpose gluer to have standing by in my household toolkit.

On the third, crossing ribbons and metal fastenings. Each came together very easily and I'm impressed with how quickly things went. It took me longer to decide on which embellishments to use than the time I spent decorating them! SUREBONDER turned these hats into a fun project and we all need to have a bit of fun!!
I am a crafter and love this product! It heats up quickly .the stand is sturdy and makes gluing so much easier I don't have to worry about where to set it down. I especially like the dual temperature and I have not burned myself!!!!
I love this glue gun! Hot glue is a teacher's best friend for hanging temporary items on the wall. This glue gun is perfect for all my classroom projects. The best feature is the stand. I don't have to worry about finding a melt proof surface to lay it on. It heats up quickly. So, no waiting. I only wish I would have had it at the beginning of the school year. A+!
This "Plus Series DT-270F Dual Temperature Hot Glue Gun" is awesome. The gun warms up very quick and the detachable stand is nice. The stand holds the gun in a level way with the tip is not pointing down. I like this because there is no glue dripping down as it gets warm. The heat guard on the tip is perfect for keeping you from getting burned. The glue from the sticks is clear and holds very strong. The gun can be laid on it's side as well if needed. This hot glue gun is great for the kids to use under a watchful eye. It is neat and will glue almost anything.
Was looking for a glue gun that could be switched from low heat for quick, easy crafts, to high heat for bigger wood crafts. This gun is the greatest, I wish that I had found it long ago. The Surebonder full size glue gun has a removeable stand, pretty solid stand that does not tip or fall over. Fits in your hand easily with a nice ergonomic design, this glue gun also comes with a nice 40w safety fuse which turns your gun off automatically should the gun overheat. We do some large framing crafts and this glue gun works very nicely on it on high heat, and also works nicely on small ornamental flowers on low heat. I really love using this glue gun!
I am reviewing Surebonder Full Size Standard Dual Temperature Stand-Up Glue Gun with Safety Fuse, 40 Watt. I received this product for free in exchange for my unbiased opinion of it. I selected this product for projects I have been wanting to do. I have limited workspace, so the idea of having something that would take up minimum space was appealing. I like the idea that if it is accidentally left on, that it has a safety fuse that shuts off the gun if it is overheating. The plastic stand has a release button on the side of the handle, so you can remove it so that it is out of your way when you are actively using your glue gun. The glue gun is light weight, yet sturdy and is comfortable in my hand. I will probably be using this item for a long, long time. I recommend it for your favorite projects and hobbies.
I liked the holder that let's you keep up upright. The weight of the glue gun is also very light. I do like the option of having dual temperature for different projects. I did have a problem though as it doesn't indicate on the switch which side is high/low. I gave it a good review rather than great because the glue gun constantly dribbled glue when it was hot. The trigger was not depressed it was just hot and sitting upright on its stand. It did make it messy as it kept leaking hot glue and wasting it.
