Working in patient care, every minute counts. This has cut down my pump times by 5 minutes and saves on bottle cleaning!
It was a great idea when ordering! However it states that it fits Ameda pump. It doesn't fit my Ameda pump. But, its OK.
Works as anticipated, and saves me valuable time! Could've been my error, but I thought each box only had one adaptor in it, so I ended up purchasing an extra set. The shipping cost as much as one set :( a drawback is that an accurate amount pumped is impossible, but doesn't bother me
The adapters fit my Medela pump the only problem is it hard to insert into bags how to take out otherwise this product is great
I use this with a Medela pump and it saves me the time I used to wash the storage bottles every day. I gave it 4 stars because I had one episode where a milk bag fell and spilled and I'm not sure what went wrong... I think you have to really keep an eye on how the milk storage bags are resting on your lap to make sure milk isn't riding up to the top. Also, I now dry the adapter after I rinse it off and keep checking to make sure everything is on tight while I'm pumping. Everything has been going well since. Overall, it was a great purchase- definitely worth the price for the convenience of skipping the storage bottles.
I really like the idea of these adapters and for the most part they work well. However, getting them in and out of the bag is a struggle. I have unknowingly ripped the side of many bags loosing valuable breast milk. Make sure you check for leaks before putting your full bags into the fridge or freezer!
Doesn't work with our Spectra pump, despite description saying it works with all major pump brands
I thought this would fit in my hands free pump but it doesn't. I dont know if I'm doing anything wrong. It says that it could fit in other pumps but so far it doesn't fit on my ameda also
The details section specified that the adapter fits most breast pumps but doesn't specify anything further. I ordered two thinking they should definitely fit my Spectra S2 pump but they don't. I paid more in shipping costs than the actual adapters so I don't see any benefit in trying to return them. I just wish the pumps they are compatible with were actually listed in the details so I could've avoided this unnecessary purchase.
I would not purchase as for a Lansinoh pump because the adapter does not fit width of bottles to adapt to pump into Lansinoh bags. They can adapt standard bottle pumps like older Medela and Ameda to bags.
