This is by far one of the best "TV Dinners" I have ever tasted. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor. The broccoli tastes fresh, with a crisp bite to it. I will definitely be buying this product again. Thanks Healthy Choice!
I love the Healthy Choice Traditional Meals, but I am tired of cleaning the dessert out of the microwave. There should be a tray insert for the dessert. You pop out the dessert before you start, and then put it back in for the last 2 minutes (or whatever it actually takes before it bubbles over).
I love the Lemon Pepper Fish with broccoli and apples entrée more than any other meals by any other company. That being said I always completely remove the cellophane from the apples and sprinkle a little old fashioned dry oatmeal on top prior to cooking and a little cinnamon. I also poke a small slit in the cellophane over the broccoli and a tiny one in the fish so it doesn't stay so wet. I enjoy a drier meal. Unless you bring back the carmel apple desert please never change a thing again about this mealagain. I love the seasoning it is perfect. Thank you for making this at a price people can afford.
The Lemon Pepper Fish my favorite quick and easy meal hands-down. It is consistently good and the fish is ALWAYS a quality piece. After cooking, I scoop everything onto a plate, add a little fresh ground pepper and eat the apples right along with it like a chutney. So delicious. The new cooking method has made it even better (the breading on fish does not get soggy and the apples never boil over). Please don't change this recipe. This is the one affordable meal I can eat regularly that tasted great every time AND I feel good after eating it, that is very important to me.
You never know what you are going to get with frozen dinners, but the Healthy Choice Classics Lemon Pepper Fish was Very Good! The fish was not smelly and was flavored well (no condiments needed!) along with the tasty seasoned rice. I usually dont like the rice in frozen meals, but this was also very good! The broccoli was was tasty and only the florets, which I like. There could have been more apples, but what was there were seasoned nicely and tasted very good! I am a senior and need to watch what I eat. This dinner was filling and tasty. Please do more like this! I will be exploring more Health Choice classics when I shop now!
This is a good quick meal that goes well together. If a fish craving is what you have then this is the meal for you. I enjoy it whenever I want fish.
Great meal and is one of my favorites BUT......fix the dessert so that it quits boiling out of the dinner and all over the microwave!!! It should be an easy fix to add a little something to the serving container in the dessert area to stop this from happening. Come on now!! This happens with all of your dinners so... FIX IT you guys!! Thanks!
Weighing in at 10.7 ounces, this 4-item entree is a champion. The items nicely complimented each other, the fish to the rice, and the broccoli to the apples. The fish is soft breaded with a slight taste of lemon pepper that does not overwhelm the taste of fish. The rice did not have much flavor compared to the way it looks, but tasted delicious when eaten with the fish. If you look at the picture of the broccoli, that is how mine looked. Some florets, some stems. I feel that Healthy Choice really did the picture justice for the fish, rice, and broccoli. The apples? No. Mine were tiny chunks, but were great nonetheless. TIP: Constantly check on the apple dessert to make sure it does not bubble over.
This little dinner was pretty good being that my home was being renovated so I didn't have access to a stove at the time. It is lemon pepper crusted fish, rice and veggies, broccoli, and an apple dessert. To improve it I would like bigger apple slices and more cinnamon. The apples were cut smaller than pictured on the box and needed more cinnamon, sugar. It was more of a tart taste. Also, I wish the fish was golden brown as on the box. Maybe if cooked alone in oven it would be. Overall, for a microwave dinner, it was fine.
Being pescatarian, we we happy to find a seafood frozen dinner, but not so happy after we tried it. The fish was okay.. not great, but okay... the broccoli had tons of water in it. I had to fish it our of the dish and onto a plate to eat it. And the dessert??? It appeared to be apples floating in water... I did try one small piece of apple, which was sickly sweet. Eww.... sorry, but this dinner needs a remake. Please try again... the fish is salvageable, but rest needs a makeover...
