Went to 3 different Walmarts, a Staples, Hobby Lobby, and a Target trying to find this set in medium point. You can only find fine tip pens in the multi color packs. Walmart.com was the only place I could find them in medium. They are very nice pens and they have a much crisper line when writing on paper than regular sharpie fine point markers (not pens). I would say the thickness of the line is the same as that of the sharpie fine point marker. I wish they made the variety pack of all the colors in this style with medium point and not just the fine.
Love the pens!
The name Sharpie normally brings to mind permanent ink with no smearing and instantly dry - that is not the case with these pens. It does have a fine tip and I had hoped to use the pens to sign gift cards, but the ink never dried on the plastic and smeared write off. If you want to use these on paper or another medium that can soak in the ink fine, but if you need the qualities associated with a sharpie marker, the pens are not for you.
I love these pens and they come in so many different colors. The only thing I am not happy about is that the tips bend and break easily. Once they bend they don't write very well and eventually the whole tip falls off and the pen become useless. This is very disappointing because this is a great pen. I hope they can make improvements to the tip to make it worth the money. In the meantime I will be looking for an alternative.
