Product set up for this grill was quick and easy. Six screws and it was all set to go. Great features themostrat on top of the grill lets you see the temperature inside the grill. The handle has a control that goes from low, warm, medium, to high...very helpful in grilling. It also has a solid compartment that slides in and out to get ride of excess fat drippings. This compartment is solid metal. So far everything that I grilled came out great. I am really satisfied and you can not beat the price.
I have a gas grill but I find myself cooking on the Miranda Electric Grill almost all of the time now. Easier and quicker, the same with clean up also. Just learn at what temperatures and how long to cook your meats and vegetables. I have a friend that lives in an apartment and can't have a gas grill so she purchased the Miranda Electric Grill and loves it!
This was purchased as a Father's Day gift for my Dad. When it arrived it was well packaged, and undamaged. Shipping was fast and email updates from WalMart excellent. The itself is well made and easy to assemble. It's an excellent BBQ at a fair price.
This electric grill was a gift to my daughter and son-in-law to use on the patio of their condo. They were both use to using a charcoal or gas grill and were amazed at how wonderful this grill is. They said there was very little difference, if any, in the way the food turned out. They were "over the moon" happy with the gill and would hightly recommend it to anyone!!
EXCELLENT PRODUCT. WHETHER COOKING FOR ONE LIKE MYSELF OR FOR A FEW PEOPLE, THIS GRILL DOES THE JOB. PERFECT SIZE FOR MY SMALL PORCH. I NO LONGER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT USING THE SMALL GAS CYLINDER OR GETTING THEM REFILLED. WILL RECOMEND THIS PRODUCT TO EVERY ONE. LIKE HOW IT COMES APART FOR EASY CLEANING. I USE THIS GRILL AT LEAST 4 OR MORE TIMES A WEEK.
The product was very easy to assemble, good quality, compact, and operates easily. We purchased this for my handicapped brother and he was thrilled with the gift.
We've only had it about 2 weeks, but it is just great for the patio. We have done steaks, shish-kabob, roasts, and planked fish. Big enough for 4 people. Takes some trial and error to learn the right settings (basically, hi=4-500, med=3-400, lo=2-300 degrees F). It is bronzing (turning brown), as stated in manual. No lighting, no fuel, no gas, no charcoal, no mess, no fuss, no bother. What could be better than that?
Performs just as desired/expected. We use this in addition to a gas grill as it's expensive to fire up a large grill for just one chop or whatever and this provides a great way of doing a small batch of food provided that you don't need a great deal of heat. This grill does a good job with food that I would normally cook on a medium heat on the gas grill. It won't reach the same high temperature of a gas grill - as I'm sure would be the case with any electric grill that is designed to plug into a standard 115V household socket. So if you can accept that limitation then this is a sound buy in my view. Easy to assemble and simple to operate, although I think I will be using it set to Max most of the time.
I recently moved into a highrise condo that prohibits open flame bbq grills. I can't exist without grilling so I bought this one. It was simple to assemble when following the directions. It has an interesting sleek look. It is smaller than I'm used to, but I can easily do 4 steaks or chicken breasts at a time. They cook evenly, but you have to add time b/c the grill does not maintain heat as well as a gas/charcoal grill. Almost all grilling has to be done with the lid closed to keep the heat at an appropriate temperature. I've grilled chicken, steak and salmon with good results.
Would not recommend. Food tastes metally and some kind of weird flavor. Flares VERY easy - very cheaply made - wish I had bought a Patio Caddie like I had before - thought I would try something different. Does anyone know how to get ahold of the company or what can do.
