Very accurate and easy use.
Purchased this scale for the office in which I work. Received item and it was enclosed in plastic bag and then inside a small box. It appears that item was dropped or used as it has several large scuff marks and the platform sits rather crooked on base. Also, I would have throught that it item had been stored in plastic and box that this would not allow for dust to accumulate. However, there was alot of dust under the platform. (Between the weighing platform and base of meter.) I am not returning as item works fine, but am kind of wondering if this might not be a refurbished item or return.
The scale is adequate for our business but it is hard to turn on and it is missing a feature known to me as "display hold". When the item you are mailing is larger than the scale, you can't see the weight with the item on the scale. Display hold is a feature that holds the weight on the display so it can be read after the item is removed. This scale does hold the display for a second or two after you remove the item so you have to be quick. Since it is a 10 lb scale one would expect that items weighing that much would be larger than the scale so I think they should have allowed for that. It does have a feature allowing you to open up the scale plate so that you can "prop up" a larger envelope, thus allowing you to read the display, but that doesn't help if your item won't "prop up". Also, I can't turn it on using my index finger, I have to use my thumb, which is a little awkward but not a nuisance.
